Works as expected; the old valve was leaking from the bottom.So far, it is working, and no leak.if you aren't sure how to replace, go to YouTube and search for 8182862 and how to do videos , very easy to replace

We have only used it twice, but it's working very well!
First, the cold water stopped coming in, and then the hot a few weeks later. I finally saw online that it wasn't the clogged line (since I looked and didn't find anything) but a bad electrical component in the valve. I was very glad to find one cheaper online. We have quick connects and they are more expensive. This was very easy to install and the washing machine is working just as it should! I hope the part lasts!

One screw and snaps in.
The old one wasn’t shutting the water off completely, so I found water in the bottom of the washer after it set for a couple of days. With the new one I don’t have that problem.

Relatively affordable replacement for the OEM valve in my Whirlpool washer
Works perfectly Stopped the problem I had of water filling the drum when not in use. I took off one point for ease of installation only because the hole for its retaining screw didn't quite line up with the screw hole in my washing machine. Simply resolved by just drilling the hole in the back of the washing machine out a bit.

Easy change out. One hole was out of place for my washer but was able to slot a hole in the sheet metal and make it work

F20 Water Flow Error Resolved
I initially thought that the water inlet flow meter was defective so I replaced it.This did not solve the error with large laundry loads.So I figured that the water inlet volume was low even though the hose screens were cleared and the hot and cold water pressure was good.I noticed that the water flow into the washer seemed somewhat low.So I changed the water valve assembly and now the water flow has more than doubled.Now with large loads that soak up the water, the F20 error is gone.

Washer restored
Product arrived the next day and my husband installed it without incident. Washer working like new. Saved a lot of time and money by replacing it himself.
