Update Apr 27Sent seller a message through Amazon system. Apologized, sent new cable! no questions asked, didn't ask for the bad one back. Got it in 2 days. Now THATs great customer service. If you’re on the fence, can’t argue whether or not they stand behind product.————————-Cable was ok. Left channel has gone all staticky and cuts out. Just happened all of a sudden. Tried cable that came with headphones and it’s fine. Disappointing. Won’t buy again.

I use this cable to connect my HD6XX to my FiiO Q2 and it works perfectly and Sounds perfect. While I can't attest to whether balanced audio from the DAC sounds better than the 3.5 I can say that that the volume is high enough to not have to add additional boost. Knowing that the power output is higher on the 4.4 port I knew I'd have to use that. When I tried on 3.5, sure enough it wasn't enough and I had to turn on the additional gain button. Using this cable and the 4.4 balanced port worked like a charm.More on the cable, the quality feels top notch. I had no issue with the connectors. Everything feels like quality. Zero issues with the sound. It sounds the same as the stock cable. For what it's worth I bought a $150 cardas cable and that also sounds exactly the same. I either don't have an ear for the subtle difference in these cables or there is no difference. So I'm completely with happy with them and highly recommend them.

The most important factor is sound quality. And in that I've no complaints. They'd be a 5-star no-brainer for one issue. The strain relief on the male terminal end isn't quite good enough. A 40 to 50 mm strain relief jacket extending past the plug end would be ideal to me. The strain relief isn't quite good enough for a desktop unit.

Beautiful to look at and hold. This cable is a very nice upgrade over the factory cable. Really dresses up your headphones and the wood accents is a really nice touch. They sound excellent. I did not detect any degrading/change of sound signature as I have with other non factory cables. In fact I think these have just a touch more sparkle and vibrancy. I will definitely order more of these for my headphone collection.

The cable matched my style well and didnt bother me when using for long sessions, sadly the cable lasted little more then 4 months before the left channel started going staticky and cutting out completely

I ordered these with the HDXXs to take advantage of the balanced output output of the IFI ZEN DAC v2. They fit perfectly and the sound quality is incredible!
