The faces mostly look alike
As others have stated most of the faces are the same-for the most part, young and pretty. Many if these women were middle aged when serving as First Ladies, and to be honest, some were famously unattractive. I wonder why the publisher bothered to include the historic info, when the artist didn't take the time to look up the ladies and portray them accurately. On the plus side, I did enjoy coloring most of the dresses, especially the old fashioned ones.I was also disappointed in the dress chosen for Jackie Kennedy. She was a fashion icon, and this casual outfit didn't do her justice.

The pictures are on the backs of each other
The illustrations are well drawn, and there is somewhat a resemblance to the First Lady shown. They are a nice size, and easy to color. My only complaint is the fact the pictures are on both sides of the page--so there is a concern about bleed through. I had to be very careful with what medium I used to try to prevent that problem.

Educational & Fun
This book is great for kids and adults alike interested in historical fashion. I really like the little paragraphs describing the dresses.

Disappointed about pictures on both sides.
Just picked up my coloring book. Looking at the pages and seeing all of the First Ladies in their beautiful gowns. I only have one problem and that is the pictures on both sides. I use gel pens it could mess up the picture on the other side. Maybe you could make new books with pictures only one one side.

Beautiful Fashions to Color!
The fashions are beautiful and fun to color! My only complaint is that, while nice looking, none of the women resemble the First Ladies. Some are close enough to guess, but if it hadn't said who they were I never would have guessed many of them. The book is worth it for the fashions, however!

Coloring and a history lesson all in one
I was in Paris last year and coloring books for adults are all the rage. I found this one for my 10-year-old granddaughter Amanda for her birthday and she loved it. She's pretty much outgrown children's coloring books so this was a nice way to draw her back into coloring which is something we all love no matter how old we are and give her a little bit of the history lesson as well.

Fashions of the First Ladies
Nice collection of beautifully illustrated First Ladies. Good quality paper used. An enjoyable introduction to some of the lesser known Presidential wives, with a brief potted history underneath each illustration.
