May I use this on Saltillo tile that has only been sealed with boiled linseed oil and paste waxed annually (old school method)?

Does alkaline mean that it is safe for quartz?

Hello Julie, Alkaline refers to the pH of the formulation, which is ~12.0. For reference, the pH of water is considered neutral with a pH of ~7.0. Our Acidic Cleaner has a pH of ~1.0. Alkaline cleaners are designed to safely cut through and remove greasy soils. Our Alkaline Cleaner will not damage the quartz, but if the quartz is sealed, the sealer may be somewhat compromised. As a result, we would recommend resealing the quartz countertop after cleaning with our Alkaline Cleaner. Will this clean mineral deposits from granite?

Hi Brie, we would recommend MORE™ Acidic Cleaner to remove mineral deposits on granite. The Alkaline Cleaner is generally used for removing grease and grime. However, Acidic Cleaner should NOT be used for marble, as it will damage the surface. Granite is not acid-sensitive, so the Acidic Cleaner is safe to use. Thanks!
