I have four kids and all our old IR headphones broke over the last couple years. I wasn't going to replace them, but this summer we are going on a road trip and will be in the car for most of two days. I totally want them to chill out watching shows. These worked right out of the wrapping - they come on a hanging card, not a box - once you put two batteries in. I bought five colors - red, blue, purple, orange and pink. I LOVE that the colors are different so everyone knows which headphones are theirs. I also like that these can be plugged into their tablets/ phones with an AUX cable to use as headphones without using power. For the price, I can't think of a better set. I got five, with 2 or 3-year warranties, for about ten to twelve bucks per. Great deal.

When we bought our used Honda Odyssey, it didn’t come with a remote or headphones. These are much cheaper than the factory ones but worked perfectly. No pairing required. Just add batteries and get in the car.4/5 because we struggled to get the case off to install the batteries.

After much research for in car dvd headphones with IR.. I bought 3 of these. 1 in orange, blue and red. They look great and feel pretty heavy duty. They DID NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. The item description says they come with 2 AA batteries but there wasn't any in the box or in the packages. They power on and lights work. They are suppose to sinc up automatically with the DVD player but they aren't working. I'm pretty sure it's the DVD player and not the headphones but I will test them on something else before I say they don't work. They have aux input for cords to plug in to.. I did test one set and it does work. The sound quality isn't great but they are cheap so it's to be expected. I will update the review after testing the IR on something else.

I ordered 2 pair in orange and purple to replace the ones that came with my dodge grand caravan. They work great, are way lighter than the old ones, and my kids don't fight over "which pair is whose" because they're different colors. We've taken them on a trip with 40 hours drive time plus regular use for 2 months and have only changed the batteries twice. BUT one pair arrived with 2 bad solders and wouldn't turn on at all. This was frustrating, but not a deal breaker for me because I'm a handyman and just opened them up and fixed the bad solders myself and haven't had a single issue since. The other pair worked fine right out of the package. For the price I would highly recommend them.

These headphones are great for my 2016 Honda Pilot. The only downfall is they require batteries, they are not rechargeable but no biggie, still great headphones. They don’t require any setup either, they automatically connect.

These headphones don't feel like they are the greatest quality but they do work with the overhead DVD player in the Chrysler Pacifica. For $10 I feel like they are pretty good value. We've only used them once so I'll update this post if/when they stop working to give you an idea of how long they last. The same is true for the headphones included with the DVD player but the on/off button is very touchy so I'm concerned they will get turned on by accident while being stored in the van. I wish they had made it a power switch instead of a button.

Update...I purchased these headsets in 2014. It's February 2019 & these headsets are still going strong! So happy with our purchase. The kids can even use an adapter to connect to their game systems & use like a regular wired headset.Love these headsets. I have 4 kids & the pair of headsets that came with my Honda Pilot just weren't enough when they all want to watch a film. I bought these for our 11 hour ride to the beach. They work amazingly! One of my sons even used the jack on the side to plug into his CD player and listened to music when he wasn't watching the movies. It's nice they shut off by themselves, too. I would definitely recommend my kids are 15, 13, 7, and 5. I've had no troubles at all and my kids love the adjustable part. Love the price. I could NOT afford the dealer cost and these wear perfect for our family.

Seems like a decent ir headset for in your rig but the description says they're also Bluetooth and neither one of 2 I bought are actually Bluetooth

bought them to replace the ones from Dodge that kept breaking - using them in my Dodge Journey - good quality for the price - bought a 2nd pair

Great product kids love these in out Honda

The pictures advertising the product make it look bigger than it really is. They do not cover the ears as shown in the ad. The static noise is bad. They create pressure on the ears that becomes unbearable after about 5 or 10 minutes.

Great variance in size adjustability. Sound quality and volume levels are perfect. My kids and teenage niece both say they were comfortable for extended wear. Battery life is fantastic. Have been holding up wonderfully with my very rough-handling toddler.

Sound not quite as good as earphones supplied by honda. But good enough for a car ride.
