Kelvin Coats Heated Jacket for Women - 5 Heat Zones, 8Hr Battery, Black Parka

The jacket is nice looking and it fit as expected but for a company based in Minnesota I don't understand why they made a "winter" coat as if they were based in Texas.With the heater turned on this coat would keep you warm on a 20F, windy day in the twin cities.But what happens if the battery runs out of juice.With this coat on you're going to be COLD.It has the insulation weight of a 40 degree F spring jacket.I'd say this is based on the needs of an active 20 year old who wouldn't be caught dead in this thing.Kelvin, your market here is 40 plus women who are cold when the temperature drops below 60F.Your coat should keep a person warm at 20F with a 20 mile an hour wind in Minnesota.Then add in the heating to get down to 0FThis product is meant more for appearance than functionality.Not that I blame you, your competitor is putting out the same type of product.Just disappointed that we can't actually find a nice looking coat meant to honestly keep a person warm through a midwest winter.

WWell made, stylish good quality, however sizing ran small. Could not wear so returned it next day. Beware I did not get my full return, they took I guess restock fee out. I will not order from them again. I paid 387.00 don't think if I am willing to pay that for a coat and be charged a fee. I wanted to buy another style but won't do that now. Others I will order from.

Wow. This parka is the real deal. It is very heavy and well made. I live in NW Iowa and am confident that I will not freeze this winter. The coat is a slimmer cut than other parkas, even given this I believe it runs a little small. I'm 5'6 130lbs and ordered a small. I probably could have done the medium but it was out of stock and the small is ok. The first one I ordered did not have a battery. I contacted the seller and he offered to send me one but I had already processed a return and ordered another. I would normally knock off a star in my review because of this, but this coat is just too darn good. There are heating elements at your hips that even warm your hands when in the pockets! If anything, this coat may be too warm for some people lol!!

This jacket is simply amazing! Living in the Midwest and surviving the polar vortex convinced me to give it a try and I will never look back. This jacket has been a life saver while out shoveling snow in subzero temps, watching hockey games (perfect length to keep your butt warm against the cold metal bleachers!), and watching ski races - not to mention just keeping me toasty warm traveling to/from work. The heating element on the back is also a nice bit of heat therapy after a long day, helping to loosen/soothe sore muscles - an added bonus I had not anticipated.It heats up very quickly (under a minute to start feeling it) and maintains the heat for the promised time period. In fact, the jacket is also very warm even without the heating element on. I found the sizing chart to be very accurate and the coat has a stylish fit made from good quality materials. The waist can be "cinched" to more closely follow a female frame but I found it fit quite well without having to use this aspect. The wrists have an inner seal that helps keep the heat in and the hood actually fits and remains on my head even in windy conditions. I love that the heating elements in the front heat the pockets which is great on those days I run out the door forgetting my gloves. The battery is relatively small and has not hindered normal function/movement for me at all. And the ability to charge your phone off the battery is also a great perk! It does take 4-5 hours to fully charge a dead battery so you do have to remember to charge it overnight.Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with quality, function, and style of this jacket and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make the leap into the heated clothing/jacket revolution!

Jacket length is the reason this one was chosen. Needed long sleeves to fit the individual, as well. Way too expensive for such a lightweight, no frills, nothing special heated coat. First one delivered in time for birthday but was defective. Replacement came much faster than original order. Looks nice on my partner. Could be a factor of her natural attractiveness. Do not expect it to work in a year. Very cheaply made jacket.

This coat is fashionable and fits like a glove. I didn't have to layer up underneath and still stayed warm. It is a good length and the battery was easy to charge, install and use. The heater works like a charm! The coat fits well and the next size up would be too large, but movement is a little limited due to its length and the weight of it. I am 5'4 and usually wear a Small or Medium depending on the clothing. I ordered a medium and it looks good, but I feel constricted if I wear too many layers underneath. Layers didn't end up being necessary, anyway. Wish I had found this coat years ago!

Good coat if you live where I do in kalamazoo michigan and get it all weather wise (neg fourty below zero wind chill lots of snow rain freezing rain you get the pic michigan sucks!!!) But yes battery is very nice to have in these weather conditions this coat is so warm sometimes I don't even turn the battery on

My Kelvin coat is superior quality - even when I don't have the battery on, I am far warmer than I ever was in my previous winter coat (which was a Patagonia- AND quite expensive.) As another plus, the battery and heating system is very effective. I can control how warm I want to be. After being run down because of winter recess duty, I found that the Kelvin coat truly was my lifesaver! Lastly, I find the appearance of the coat to be very stylish. Overall, this is a great buy.... and I am never going back!
