These towels were not what I had thought. They were not soft and plush as the ones I had experienced at the Marriott made with the centium core technology.

I bought these towels to be used in a tropical home. They really absorb water well, instead of spreading it around as some towels do, but best of all they dry very quickly even when the humidity is high. I will be purchasing a few more soon for my home in the Midwest.

In my last hotel stay (in New Orleans), our room had these awesomely beautiful, luxurious, large, absorbent towels. I wrote down the information on the tags and set our to find some for our own. These towels, made by Standard Textile, aren't sold at their site (these are luxury hospitality/hotel towels, not available to the general public at their site), but I knew that surely I could find them SOMEWHERE. And here they are, yay! These towels are thick and so soft and beautiful-- the stripe design is lovely and so different. I can't say if they shed a lot of lint, which I saw someone say about some others-- I haven't had the chance to wash them. But...You won't regret purchasing these. They are obviously high quality, cannot imagine that they wouldn't hold up for many years.
