Fits full size trucks
It was shown to fit a newer Colorado (2017 Z71) but it definitely doesn’t and is too wide. I ordered a used/returned one and the damage is really minor. I’ll be mounting on a trailer if a buddy doesn’t want it for their full size truck.

I Expected Much More For The Price
I'm fairly disappointed in this toolbox. It came pre-dented. I realize that it probably happened during shipping and didn't leave the factory that way...at least I hope. I wasn't overly concerned about this because I'm sure it will see a lot worse before too long.It came pre-rusted. Several rust spots on the lid and the latch pins. Manufactured in February of this year, so it rusted pretty quick, either inside the factory or packaged up. So I don't know what the weather will do to it.Lid does not seal. The lid sits above the box about a half inch which will allow a ton of water spray to get inside the box. The latching pins are adjustable only that when you adjust them to where the lid seals, it won't latch. Horrible design and engineering job. The metal angle that holds the latch pins is held in place by a bolt. That bolt interferes with the latch mechanism when the pins are adjusted to their top most position. That top most position is where the pins need to be so the lid will seal. Guess I'll have to buy some of that foam seal for window AC units because the gap is that wide.On of the latch arms was bent and the lid would not latch and stay closed. It was easy enough to bend back into position with a pair of pliers but after everything else mentioned, I was losing my patience with it.I'm not returning it because it isn't worth the hassle. However, I would not buy another one from this company. I would purchase a better built one. ( pun intended ).

Good Bargain Box
This aluminum box is exactly what I needed. It's shallow and low-profile, basically the right size for a few toolboxes and road gear (tow straps, ratchet straps, jumper cables, etc.). There's zero visibility loss through the back window. I'd recommend getting one of the foam/rubber liners they sell for boxes though, unless you're packing stuff in there really well...my toolboxes slid whenever I took a turn and banged up the inside a little bit.I noticed some snow getting in after a nasty storm. I'm unsure if it came in through the pre-cut slots for the mounting hardware or under the "meh" quality weather stripping around the lid, or even a combination of both. I'm going to seal it up better when I get the chance, but thought I'd mention it and hopefully prevent your stuff from getting wet or damaged.I'm including some pics of the packaging, and could add some of the installed box later. Mine arrived without any dents or damage thankfully, but I can see how others might not have been so lucky. The ends are padded with styrofoam, but the top and sides are exposed behind the walls of the cardboard box.All in all, I think this box is decent if you just want a covered place to store standard or cheaper equipment for your truck. If you want a box to store your expensive or irreplaceable tools and equipment in, I'd recommend a sturdier and more secure option.

Another One Dented
Excited when it arrived. Had read several reviews complaining of " dents" but I surmised surely Amazon wouuld have seen the reviews and worked that out with shipping. Disappointedly when I unpacked my tool box lo & behold the dent was there. Inexcusable!!!! As much as I liked the T-box I have to admit I was just a tad bit pissed. There were nothing to protect the product. No extra wrappings - no foam - not even paper. They know it's way too much trouble to return such a big item therefore beware. Other than that it is perfect for my needs. I am not a mechanic or a construction worker therefore my need for a more durable box was not a priority. It compliments the back trim around the bed of truck but every time I look at it - that freaking dent stares me right smack dap in the face. Amazon I order too much to have to be slighted. I know how much they cost with the dent but how much are they without the dent. If not for that as far as my needs it would have been a 5 star product.

Works for me, 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd
I bought this toolbox because I was running out of space under my seats and losing passenger space in the backseat area. It does the job for what it is intended, I wish it was made thicker and the top had more reinforcement to stand on with no problems. It easily bends and I can see warping it over time. Toolbox looks good, I like that it is black and not so eye-catching like the shiny chrome/stainless steel boxes. So far, no problems with the latching mechanisms, able to open from either driver or passenger side easily, same for closing. I am probably going to get more use out of this toolbox when I switch jobs at the end of the year and start working on residential renovations. More tools and equipment to carry. You will need to organize the space efficiently to carry what you will need to use and not just toss things inside haphazardly. Good toolbox, top needs reinforcing, latching is good.

It's very ok.
This box does exactly what I need it to do. I just needed space for a few tools and junk that were cluttering up my backseat.Arrived undamaged, but from the packaging I can see how it could be damaged easily. Alos, it came in a Walmart box, so there's that.I have a 2005 F150 Lariat. It doesn't quite come over each rail but it's plenty wide enough to attach to the truck. The actual dimensions are 69 x 12.5 x 12.5. I assumed the package dimensions were the size since it wasn't list but it comes with styrofoam spacers. If you're looking for inexpensive, personal use, it works.

The fit is not perfect, it barely hangs on
Its ok, fit is mediocre in my 6ft bed on my 2004 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. Came dented, took 3 weeks to get to me. I am not a fan of returning things, luckily the box was dented on the bottom back so it does not mess with functionality, but BUYER BEWARE that it could be in a spot that would. The fit is not perfect, it barely hangs on, but hang on it does. I just needed it for tools, emergency road repair situations, tow straps, extra water, and fishing equipment. Wouldnt know how well it would hold up to someone that actually used this getup daily.
