Good, Inexpensive, All-purpose running shoe
I run exclusively in Saucony after trying many other brands. If I am running a road race or a trail race I will wear a more expensive specialized shoe for that environment, but this is a great, versatile, training shoe. Technically, it is a street shoe, but I have found that it has enough traction to function off-road on runs where you are switching between road and trail. In fact, I recently ran a Tough Mudder in a pair of Coesion 5s and didn't have any problems. They hold up well after extensive use, but honestly part of the reason I bought them is because they are relatively inexpensive, so I don't mind wear and tear. I use them on gym equipment (foot straps on rowing machines and bikes can wear on shoes over time for example), travel, just lounging and my last pair I left behind when I travel to a mud race and didn't want to bring dirty shoes back on the plane. This isn't a particularly unique or exciting looking shoe and the color schemes offered on the 6 are a little more blah than what was available on the 5, but they aren't ugly and I choose substance over style in this case. My Cohesion 5s were among the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. The sole and the upper on the 6 seems to have a little less give/softness, but they are still really comfortable and seem to have slightly better support.

Best shoes I've owned for a long time
I bought some Saucony shoes probably a decade ago and liked them, but went back for other brands for a long time. Recently though, after my last pair of Nike shoes literally had the bottom come unglued, I wanted to try something else. I found these on Amazon and thought I'd give them a shot. They are a bit more narrow than Nike shoes, which is good for my feet. The only kind of bad thing here is that they may be a little less stable, so if you're running on concrete they may be fine, but if you're doing anything on trails or doing sports these may not be the shoes for you. However, for me they are perfect. They are comfortable, they offer good support, and overall fit well.Exercising causes sweat, and while we can all expect to get a little swamp foot, I seem to have the genetics of Norsemen or something so I overheat while exercising very easily. For me, these are probably the shoes that let my feet breathe the best of any I've used in years. That alone makes a huge difference for me because I don't get the feeling like I've just been walking in a puddle and have soggy, smelly shoes now.

Third pair, great economical shoe!
I really enjoy running....when I'm into it. I usually go through periods of inactivity and remember how I miss running. Then I start running again, doing 15-20 miles/week, sign up for a few 5k's, 10k's, even a half marathon. Then eventually I'll fall off the bandwagon until the next running cycle hits. C'est la vie :)But seriously, when I'm into it I really enjoy it and one of the reasons I enjoy running is because it's so darn simple! It's basically the easiest sport, you simply put on some shoes, some comfortable clothes and run for an extended amount of time. Almost zero athletic ability and almost zero gear, not complicated at all! That's why I love this shoe, it's cheap, simple, and comfortable. I've bought three, maybe even four pairs already. I have friends swear you need to get fitted for a shoe and find out your running style at those clinics, and buy nothing less than a $120 shoe. I say to them see you at the finish line in my $40 saucony's sucka!Imagine buying a $120 product, banging it against the pavement repeatedly and then throwing it into a dark closet haphazardly over and over again? Sounds like a waste of money to me! Keep running simple and cheap, buy these shoes!

Thick, durable shoe
I bought these sight unseen because they are Sauconys, and was a bit disappointed because these aren't lightweight like my previous Sauconys. I no longer log the long, repeated runs I used to do when training for marathons (I've switched my focus to weightlifting), but I still love to run. For this reason, I realized this shoe was more appropriate for my type of training. It is thicker and heavier than other running shoes, but also more durable. It is very comfortable too. They are perfect for the gym, and the occasional 5 - 10 mile runs I still embark on. The durability of these shoes should mean I won't need to buy another pair for a long time. My previous Saucony's were very lightweight, and the fabric of the shoe got holes and started to fray before the soles wore out (probably because I'd mountain bike in them too). Anyway, my review is a bit long winded, but I like the shoe. If I were still running 35 - 50 miles a week, I'd probably want something lighter though.

Fit perfectly. Better support than I expected.
I have an older pare of Saucony shoes that have since become my lawn mowing shoes. This pair feels a bit heavier because it has a thicker sole, but that is a good thing because my older pair wore out within 6 to 8 months of casual running. My calves were killing me for the first 3 days I ran with these, but now that I am used to them I can actually run further than I could before without my legs getting tired. I attribute that to having good support. I don't feel like I am trying to keep my feet aligned which definitely saves energy.Overall, its a wonderful shoe for the price. If you've never run with Saucony you should try them on in the store first because they tend to be more of a "minimal" shoe. This is a great transition shoe if you are wanting to go more minimal, but still, you should try it first, or at least expect your legs to be really sore the first week you run.

Non è necessario essere atleti per le Saucony
Scarpa running robusta e leggera.
