Great tool
Gray tool for making firm meatballs. Just fill it up with mean a squeeze.

Timesaver and works well
Shaped meatballs using these and was pleasantly surprised. I was concerned that the meatballs might not hold their shape and might break apart while being cooked. Pleasantly surprised this was pretty easy to use - sometimes had trouble getting the meatballs out of the scooper but I think I'm getting the hang of it and would recommend.

Works, easy, black residue in handles
This mini meat baller is easy to use and clean. I used it to make cake pops to get a uniform size before rolling smooth. It works well for that purpose. For me though, the inside of the loops for the handles contained a black substance that came off on my hands and therefore onto the dough until I realized where it had come from. It took some wiping to get it off, but after that it was okay, so far. There are no comfort grips on the handles if you think that may bother you, as some similar products do have that. I did find it a bit uncomfortable to use on my last batch of cake pops. The handle openings are also very small compared to some others out there, so you can't fit multiple fingers in at once to distribute pressure either. I chose this based on a recommendation for the size, but I have found one on Amazon that is just a little bit bigger (1.3" versus this 1.25") which is cheaper (also available in a two pack for a bit more) and does have larger handle openings and a comfort grip. You can also find sets of two different sizes with comfort grips for a few dollars more than this one.

Cake pop review only.
I don't make meatballs and meatball accessories so take into consideration that those 3 stars are for cake pops only. Okay, so I don't know why people are saying these make perfectly round cake pops. I mean, I'm no wizard but I know a sphere when I see one. This thing makes oblong cake pops. I would only use this to make them for my family who love and care for me and could overlook my circumference challenged cake. I'd never have the nerve to hand them over to a client. If the thought of an imperfect circle doesn't make your head explode, it is pretty nifty. And it's the perfect size. It has two little escape hatches on the top and bottom for the excess cake to pop out of, and like another reviewer mentioned, they used one of the holes to pop the stick through. Genius. Your cake pop maintains it sad little shape through the impaling process. I sprayed the cups with flour infused baking spray and had no trouble removing them. And for my last death rattle I'd like to mention that the finger holes on these things are the worst. For reals, these things HURT to use. I wrapped them with tape for cushioning but damn. I TRIED.

Great meatball maker!
I love this meatballer to make the same size meat balls all the time. So easy to use!

Not good for meatballs.
I used this to make a batch of taco meatballs. I was having to clean the scoop after every meatball. half of them broke trying to get them out of the device. The handles were too small for my hands. I could go on.I threw all of the poorly shaped and broken meatballs back in the bowl and switched back to my cookie scoop which worked as it always did. Not perfect, but better then this contraption. It might work for other use cases, but did not work for meatballs. I dropped it in the trash.

good size
This is just the right size for smaller meatballs , especially the ones for soups like Italian wedding soup. Like another mentioned about the inside finger loops being sharp, I just take a emery board and smooth them down, and this works fine, but the manufacturer could stand to round those edges.Update......Upon making many meatballs with this devise I come to the conclusion that all the sanding, did nothing to help with the metal insert in the handles. Those inserts were very ruff and painful on the finger, and made them sore. I wish there were something to cushion the finger, like rubber inserts instead of metal?

Doesn't work for intended use
I purchased the mini-meatballer for two reasons:1) To make bathbombs2) To form falafel ballsI figured if it didn't work for one use, then it would work for the other. Sadly, I have not had success. The bathbombs fell apart after being put in the press, so couldn't use it for that purpose. Instead, I used a mini-muffin pan and dried them out in the oven. For the falafel balls, they stuck to the metal press. So I had to peel them out. Defeated the purpose of buying a meatballer. I find taking a spoon and doing it the old-fashioned way by rolling it in the palm of your hand is better than the meatballer. I was disappointed in this product.I cannot recommend this product to others based on my personal experience.
