Planning to buy the kenmore bu4050 intuition vacuum. can't find bags for bu4050; others are listed, not this one. which do i buy? thank you!

What are the differences with each vacuum …. 4050 vs 4022, etc.?

I just bought the 4050 and its great. I have three dogs and it has great suction power and it was easy to put togeather. I have old carpet and it lifted it up and made it look like new carpet..I have owned a Shark Vac and a Bissel Vac and they dont even come close to the power and ease of use of this vaccume..

Has the hose splitting issue been resolved by manufacturer? Where do all the attachments fit on vac? Do you stand by warranty? Some reviews say no.

I have not had an issue with the hose on mine which I have had for over a year. You can place two attachments on the back of the canister. You would have to contact Kenmore about the warranty.

Has anyone owned this rose gold model for more than a year without any parts breaking or complete replacement?

I have both the Green BU4022 and the Rose BU4050. The only difference between them is the color and the type of brush roll bar. I have not had anything broken on either vacuum. The main problem I see people having is the hose coming apart. This may be due to the user not setting the vacuum in a locked upright position when moving to a different location. This could cause the hose to separate because the hose is holding the head.
