The 30 day book is to get you in the habit of making and incorporating the green smoothies as part of a new healthy way of living. So when you start out you need to have goals for yourself-- for when you get to "the other side." If you have no purpose--or at least a clear understanding of one, you will become frustrated, make excuses, cheat, falter and fail. The expectations can't come from the book or the author --it must come from within. For me, I am a student of the healthy lifestyle, but being human--I have backslid. I used the book to re-set, re-think and re-establish the healthy way I want to look, feel and be. The 40 days gave me time to assess how my body felt without eating the bad stuff and the difference and changes I began to experience with consuming only the good stuff. What does my body want? What is it asking for? What does it need?? I learned that my body feels and looks best when I am eating a majority plant-based diet. I have not yet committed to being either vegan or vegetarian, but I'm going to start with at least a 90% plant-based diet. I will give my body what it needs and what it asks for---not what my eyes want. As I approach the last few days of the 30 day book, I am looking forward to adopting one green smoothie as a meal replacement per day indefinitely. I've made it work for me and it fits my lifestyle. I completed JJ Smith's 10 day cleanse successfully. I then segued into this book--30 day Green Smoothies for Life and pretty much followed it to the letter. This book is the TRUTH!
This book right here is the TRUTH! JJ Smith has out did herself once again. The book is outlined so well with understanding step-by-step life changing methods and details. Vivid and colorful pictures of quick, easy, and delicious recipes that your whole family will enjoy (I have cooked three meals since receiving my book this week). And delicious smoothies that my whole family will enjoy. I have read all of JJ's books and I follow her on Facebook in the 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse group and the VIP group which have been very instrumental on my journey to a healthier lifestyle for the past two years. By reading JJ's books and following her plans, my A1C and blood pressure are lower (normal range), I don't suffer from adult acne anymore, and I have lost weight that will never come back. Phenomenal for weight loss, maintenance and complete lifestyle change!!
Anybody who wants to first eat healthy and secondly lose weight needs this book. Flatout!! This book is the truth! Loosing weight is 80% eating right and 20% exercising! This author focuses on eating clean, healthy and delicious meals! Snacks and desserts are included. It's not about starvation! It's not a fad diet. it's a LIFESTYLE CHANGE! I have been telling my patients for years how to lose weight and what NOT to eat but I struggled with obesity myself. I am an internal medicine doctor and was not taught enough about in nutrition in medical school. JJ Smith has taught the teacher! She actually has change my life! She teaches you how to detox, balance your hormones, eat clean and yes, exercise. This book is a game changer. It is well written. Easy to comprehend. Easy on the eyes with plenty of color photos for each receive and smoothie. This book is invaluable. She out did herself! This is her NEW New York Times Best Seller! Mark my words. Great recipes but large portions
I really enjoyed the smoothies and the meals so far. However, I would say that the meals and smoothies are very large portions. In the book, JJ Smith says that the smoothies should be between 10-14 ounces. Many of the smoothie recipes made much more than that. I bought 14-ounce glass bottles to divide the smoothies, and the smoothies typically filled 3-3.5 glass bottles. Also, the collard greens and black eyed peas recipe made so much lol. I would definitely cut that recipe in half. Overall, I think this book is a great supplement to the Green Smoothie Cleanse book.

What a difference a day makes! Thank you
I've been following JJ SMITH since 2016. And I have admit I was skeptical at first. I had tried other things before that worked only temporarily. When I started with her on the 10 day Green Smoothie cleanse, I was tired of not feeling good and feeling like my body was letting me down due to having spinal nerve damage, tingling in my feet and legs, sluggish and not sleeping well. I stuck with it, lost 8 lbs, but I also noticed I was upbeat, not so sluggish. I stayed with her because she teaches you to get to know your body. The Green Smoothies for Life goes more into what it takes, how to eat clean, moving your body, she continues to give you the tools, motivation and fabulous recipes to make a HEALTHY lifestyle change, not some up and down diet no she wants you healthy. I went from 190 lbs to right now today 163 lbs. My skin is glowing, my body is rejuvenating itself and although I still have doctors to see, I'm doing it. I turned 50 years old in November, I had a lot of challenges, but because of JJ I never quit and I can see the difference in what it means to eat clean and get healthy. JJ Smith is awesome and her books are life changing
This is my second book from JJ smith, her program works and there is no doubt about it. I have lost a total of 42lbs sticking with JJ Smith smoothie cleanse and DHEMM system, her books teaches life skills and ways to loose wieght and maintain wieghtloss, his is not a FAD diet she teaches lifestyle change. I am apart of JJ Smith facebook page she checks in on us everyday to make sure we are successful and gives us daily tips. I love this lady and her books.

I read her book on 10 day green smoothie cleanse. Formula worked and I lost 12lbs (5.5kg) I bought this book to get more smoothie recipes. Aim to lose 30kg this year. Following her books and being disciplined I know I'll reach my goal this year 2021

Amazing Book
The juice recipes are amazing and can be used in everyday life not just for a specific diet. I just loves the smoothies its a great way to make better choices.
