Great Upgraded Camera
I love this set up better than my previous two EZVIZ cameras. Love the options, better looking visually, . Easy setup. The app works well.

EZVIZ is awesome.
I have 13 cameras connected on a property I own for few years with basically no issues at all. EZVIZ beats the competition hands down.

Excellent Camera - great for farm buildings (some tips) & Manfred Mann's Earth Band bonus!
I bought this camera to observe an older horse in slowly declining health. It's been a great purchase. I put a very small Christmas tree bulb styled LED night light in the barn but with this camera's night mode, it's looks like daytime in the middle of the night! I've now got these cameras on the outside building perimeter and they work really well out to about 100 yards during the day. Specifically, in the barn I have a wireless mesh router (hooked to a cheap switch to get a few extra ethernet ports ) that extends my wireless network from the house to the barn. The cameras are then hard wired with ethernet cable into that router/switch. The cameras work great even on relatively low bandwidth of of 10-12mb/sec. You could probably run them just fine on a cell phone remote router if it had a good cell signal from literally anywhere there's electricity...no mesh router needed! One thing is that these cameras have VERY sensitive night time sensors that are easy to overpower. So if you want to see well at night, don't hang the camera where an outside light directly shines on the camera sensor. It will just wash out the camera. Put the camera around a corner or build a shade so it can see the desired area but not get "blinded by the (direct) light"...as he hums a little "Manfred Mann's Earth Band"...and if you're too young to get the reference, google it on Youtube. You'll be happy. Installation is a breeze. Just download the app, sign up for an account, login, scan the QR code on the camera, give each camera a name, and you're rockin. Also, make sure to hang the camera so cables go UP INTO THE CAMERA. If not, snow/water will probably get inside and ruin it. If the camera orientation is wrong, there's a FLIP VIDEO option to mirror the view. One issue I did have was that, while playing with them, I couldn't get these cameras to wirelessly connect to 5GHZ wifi, only 2.4 which is the older slower version. Before you buy these, if you want to run wirelessly, make sure your router has a 2.4 GHZ option. Others have complained about this too. Happy videoing.

Fast, Easy Setup
I just got it about an hour ago, so it's got a rough setup right now. What I know so far is you'll need the EZVIZ app for setup, and it'll largely walk you through the installation. Once you've got it up and running, you'll want to go into the app and enable to your circumstances things like continuous or event recording, sound, positioning the camera, et cetera. While mounting it, I got push notifications to my phone of pictures while I was mounting the camera. I have it going through a Starlink router in my shop, and I picked this camera because EZVIZ seemed to have lower data demands. My intent (although IDK if it'll work out), is to shift to the $5.00 Standby plan to keep a rudimentary connection and control costs. You will want to install the micro SD card first (the screws are captive in the cover, so no need to try fully removing them), as it's all but impossible to do so, once mounted. The night vision and picture clarity is decent at the price point, for me. Some of the functions I don't have a picture or video for, since I drilled-down into the app back in the house. But I'll assume they work well enough. Overall, I'm happy with the performance and cost. EDIT: I had a moth in my shop, overnight. This camera showed "Human Detected". I can only guess it's a dumb camera unable to discriminate sources of movement. It's still fine as it worked, but I'd rather not have 50+ critical alerts for swirling debris or insects. I configured the camera in the app, so unless I'm missing something, don't rely upon this camera for anything other than generic alerts. So I'm going to take a star off for this reason.

WiFi Range Is Awful. Picture Quality Is Good, When It Decides To Work.
I own many EzViz cameras(13) and for some reason they cannot design an outdoor WiFi camera that has any sort of range. Their tiny indoor WiFi cameras, of which I own 6, all have much better range and connection stability. I have one of those in my shed window(inside), probably 80 feet from my house, and it's works great. Over the last few years I've bought multiple iterations of their outdoor cameras starting with the "Husky" then to the newer version of the Husky and now these pan/tilt cameras. These are an all new design with external antennas, so I had had high hopes that they had improved the WiFi, but no, these are as bad and maybe worse than all their previous outdoor WiFi cams. A little background; I have the latest Google Nest mesh router system in my house, there is literally coverage everywhere, and 800Mbps internet. When I take my dog for a walk my phone stays connected to my WiFi for 150' down the street. All 3 of these new cams are mounted to the side of my house, and all of them are no more than 15' from one of the mesh router nodes. Two of them only have to transmit through one exterior wall, the other transmits through one exterior and one interior wall. Overall I'd say these connect with the app less than 50% of the time, sometimes an entire day will go by and they won't connect. And when they do connect and you get a picture it's usually unstable and pixilated, and then just drops out completely. Once again, this isn't an isolated incident, I bought THREE of these and they're all the same amount of sh!tty, just like their outdoor camera predecessors.
