El PintoMild Salsa, 16 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Tried this product while visiting family in Arizona recently. It is not carried in my area so ordered here. This is by far the best store bought salsa I’ve had. Now ordering it by the case! It goes fast!

This salsa is great, but Amazon sent HOT instead of MILD. Will have to give it away.

Had to mix it with other salsa to eat it . I don’t like hot salsa . THIS IS NOT MILD

Lived in NM 16 years. After moving to Wyoming I missed the whole NM cuisine. El Pinto is a staple. Can't live with out it!

Compared to any salsa found on shelves here in California, this is easily a 5 star salsa. (Pace, picante - "meh!") El Pinto is so much more flavorful and "good spicy" than anything you can buy at a typical supermarket. But I have some salsa experience after living in ABQ for 10 years so I know el pinto isn't the best. Im not going to mention my favorite here because honestly it's better in the restaurant than in a jar anyway. This medium spice level is not too spicy for my family (I prefer it much spicier though but settled for the good of the team - lol) and the flavor is not sugary like the store bought junk.... PS El Pinto is an upscale restaurant in downtown ABQ and is a "must visit" while in ABQ. Also visit Sadie's!

tastes like pace

...but my husband dislikes it. I was hoping for a nice NM flavor without the Sadie's style heat (which is painful). I really like this, but not everyone in the family does.
