We love this book.It is all encompassing when talking about emotions. It presents several situations that are 100% relatable for a young child and the parents as well.I also like that it gives you a basic script of what to say in difficult moments to show kindness while keeping safe limits.Also the drawings are engaging for my son and makes the words easier to understand.It has given us so many opportunities to discuss our feelings and put an image to those feelings as well.But for me the most important feature of this book is that it helps normalize emotions. It put laughter and crying in the same category and takes away the negative connotation that crying has, because "crying is good". I would totally buy this book again and I recommend it 100%!!

I bought this book for myself (& my son) and also a copy for a girlfriend & her family. It's a beautiful read. It's also a great conversation stater. I plan to read it with my Grade 1 class this year in the early weeks. I love the illustrations & the words. I love the message & how it lends itself to conversations around feelings.

Smallest daughter enjoys the crying side, she chooses to start there. Two-sided design is fun! My older daughter while reading this book (4 year old) says, “just like you say, right mommy?” And now she’s coaching her cousin too, it’s adorable. You’re amazing and such a blessing to many families for your genuine Instagram content and your book(s). This is invaluable and such a heartfelt, affordable investment for ANY family.

I initially bought this book to read to my kids, to help them understand their own emotions and the complexity behind them. Little did I know how much I needed to hear these words. Reading it aloud felt like I was reading it to my inner child - so much emotional release. This is a wonderfully beautiful and simple book for everyone.

Bought this book when our youngest were 7 & 8 and we all loved reading it. They’re 8 & 9 now and they are still enjoying the book. It is a very thoughtful and gentle book. It just warms your heart. A must have in every home!
