Cricut 2002147 Edge to Edge Cartridge for Artwork

I ordered it because I thought I could do individual strips of trim that would be 12 inches long. I didn't realize that it cuts a full page design. The maximum width is only 10 inches, not 12 inches. However, once I started using it I enjoyed the varied backgrounds. With some imagination, you can use it in different ways. I'm using one design to use as a stencil. Another design (zig-zag) I'm cutting into strips. Instead of doing a 10 inch you can decrease the size and do a smaller version. The cover on the cartridge is somewhat misleading though. I would check it out at the Cricut Library and see if you like the designs.

Loaded with beautiful images and so many beautiful and creative possibilities. Absolutely love it. Another beautiful cartridge is Splendid Soirée. So many lace, trellis and fancy images to use. Ahhh.... And the Cricut Explore cuts the details beautifully. I tried on some small lace pieces.I love these very much.I rate them a 10...UPDATE:Ok, the cartridge is absolutely beautiful! The Cricut Explore is great!...THE REQUIRED ONLINE ONLY BASED Design Space... Not so great! No!Since I downloaded the Google Chrome which Provo strongly suggested I use, I began to have problems with my internet. Then I lost my internet completely....rendering this lovely cartridge and the Explore totally useless.Sounds nice " online based design software idea" but if your internet service is interrupted by weather or anything else, or there is a problem with the website, there goes your ability to use the Cricut Explore and any cartridge (digital or otherwise) you paid for and no matter what you won't be able to use it until you get back online.***The Explore will not work without a computer and internet.***You CANNOT USE CARTRIDGES STRAIGHT ON THE MACHINE LIKE WITH OLDER CRICUT MACHINES.YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET AND A COMPUTER TO USE THE EXPORE.The Design Space is very user friendly, graphics are really pretty too, but the internet thing is a true problem.Again it sounds good just doesn't always work...BUT THE CARTRIDGE IS GORGEOUS!.

Cartridges are expensive.

This cartridge does not come with an overlay, it is designed to be used the universal overlay. It 50 beautiful designs perfect for your scrapbook layouts or/and cards. The designs can be resized within reason and some designs lend to you cutting them to make multiple card backgrounds at once. By mixing and matching, the possibilities are endless. Don't want it to cut, let it draw the design by using your pens instead of your cutting blade, try throwing another design that was cut out over it so you see the drawn design through the cuts. One of my favorites is to do half drawn (use a mask) then cut out half (make the whole thing but cut in half) and glue it down right where the drawn design ends, using dimensional glue dots or tabs on the farthest side so it looks like the drawing became three dimensional as you look across the page. Of course they look fantastic just cut out as is. I like leaving boarders around my pages (I don't like the design to go right to the edge of my paper) but the photo is the one on page 18 and although I do not have it glued down, the white paper is 12x12 so you can see for yourself how nice it looks.

Excellent for adding the special touch to cards.

I love this cart. it makes scrapbooking quick and easy. I know the packaging says to set your size at a certain number however i was able to make 3X3 note cards with the snowflake pattern and it came out perfect. Very happy with this cart.
