Monster Inspiration Active Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headphones

Great sound, and a comfortable fit. They are sturdy and very well built. I use them for everyday listening, and phone conversations and they work like a champ. Battery life is good for the active noise cancelation, and it does a good job of quieting a noisy car ride so you can enjoy your tunes. Great bass, mids and highs and they sound good with all types of music. They bring Mozart to life, and can party with the Beastie Boys, Oingo Boingo, Aerosmith, and Depeche Mode without any effort. I have used them with a FIIO E07, brainwavz, and Sound Blaster X7 and they can handle the extra power very well. Now the volume doesn't have to go up all the way. The only reason I didn't give them a five star review is that the active noise cancelation could be better. In a noisy environment you can hear what sounds like holding you ear up to a empty seashell at the beach, turn them on and the shell goes silent; but the exterior hard shell cans do allow passive noise radiation so you can still hear environment sound. So although it does a good job, it could be much better. The music sound reproduction however is top notch. Crystal clear reproduction of all music files and you hear instruments, symbols, guitar string slides as the musician changes finger placement etc. The sound is comparable to Sennheiser 598's, AKG's K712's, and they blow away the competition in this price range!

Almost a year later and I'm really happy with my purchase. I use these a lot! Almost everyday at work there periods of time when I need to shut everything out and get shi- ... stuff done. Where are my headphones? At night when I'm at home and need to work on personal stuff. Where are my headphones? Long plane trip where I don't want to talk to anyone? Where are my headphones?I'm by no means an audio professional, but the sound is great for me and it provides a positive listening experience both with and without the noise cancellation. It's comfortable for long periods of time, but I will admit that after a long while (2 - 3 hours) I have to take them off or switch ears, etc. I've never worn over the ear headphones for that period of time before, so that might just be me. The wired mic that comes with it works great for Skype or Hangouts or phone calls, etc. The noise canceling is not the best that I've used, but it is definitely noticeable and along with music helps me sleep on planes. The carrying case that comes with it is clutch because I bring it to and from the office everyday. I'm very happy with the white and it still looks good. I would absolutely purchase this product again.

Not wanting to conform to the Beats "Revolution" I decided to take a chance on these Monster Inspirations. After traveling a couple trips through the air, I can confirm that the active noise canceling is definitely worth the money. You can eliminate most unwanted sounds by just flipping the switch. If you are just using them at home then you can tune out anything. Highs, mids, lows, and bass all seem to be perfect. They definitely can hit hard when tuned correctly. Its definitely nice when you can switch genres and not have the music sound terrible. Ears can become a little fatigued when listening for long periods... but definitely doesn't take away from the product. There is a battery (AAA) compartment inside the right ear cup. The padding side comes off.

The mids are not as bad as the other beats models like the solos and hds and even the pros but not as forward as the hd 25s. Overall this is geared towards modern music... Pop, rnb hip-hop, drum and bass, rock, dubstep. etc...Since i have the very balanced hd 25s i wanted something that was fun sounding with good base emphasis and this do not disappoint. With an amp the headphones vibrate and its like a sub woofer next to your ear all without sounding too muddy or drowning out the mids too much. The highs are very well defined. Even though you don't need an amp to drive these cans, i belief its really awesome with an amp. In fact most cans are really much better with a good amp for those who are serious about their music.Noise Cancelling on.Noise cancelling is mediocre at best. Compared with Bose. But it does work and it does cancel out some ambient noise. The over-ear ear cups also provides good passive isolation so overall in total its quite effective at blocking out ambient noise just don't expect all sound to disappear though. The noise cancelling feature also acts as a bass and volume booster. But the best thing with these cans are that you have the choice to switch it on and off and still use them without batteries unlike the bose and the studios.Sound Leakage and sound isolation.As mentioned before sound isolation is above average. With noise cancellation switched on its slightly better then the hd 25s which are known for effective passive noise cancellation. Sound leakage is another matter though as its worse than the hd 25s. It does leak some sound so taking it to the library and blasting the music is not such a good idea.Comfort & Built.This depends on the size of your ears. Mine just fits. The ear pad cushions are really soft and feels great. Clamping force of these headphones depending on the size of your head can be fairly tight to moderately tight.But nowhere as bad as the mixrs and much more comfortable than the solos and hds. Although my ears do not rest on the speaker grill the outer ear does come in contact with the cushions and can be uncomfortable after a couple of hours. You have to get the right fit with these things. I wish they were a little bigger. Another thing though are these cans seem well built to me but you do feel its weight on your head. Four Stars for sublime sound quality; the sound clarity are beyond expected and deep base without distorting sound quality and clarity.Very comfy headphones and not heavy or as large as they might seem in photos and sit perfectly over the ears and around the head.However I had discovered that the headphones have started to produce a persistent windy/static noise over and in the background of whatever you may be listening to. The noise is not overwhelming and depending of the recorded sound quality of the track/video I am listening to, I can not always hear it until the track changes and silence takes its place.Also when plugging in the headphone jack to the actual headphone unit; if I touch the plastic covering the area around the socket whilst the headphones are switched on and powered, the headset produce a constant whining sound (noticeable over sound) until finger has been removed.This is most likely my unfortunate luck to receive a faulty set and doubt the issue will occur among other units.Therefore despite my issue I highly recommend these headphones to any other silly fool; such as myself to spend at least £200 on headphones.If you love music and have the money, buy these headphones! All my friends are in awe of my sense prioritising my money and in the amazing sound that these headphones produce.Enjoy : )

Got it for a month, and the quality of the sound is perfect. Honestly, I really do not want to recommend it, because it is so great and if there is anyone wear the same headphone, I would be uncomfortable because I am not the best one with the gorgeous headphone. It is quite good at this price and I confirm that what I bought from Amazon is totally the same item with what I expected to. That's it .

Appassionato di cuffie : ne possiedo un numero esagerato. Molto soddisfatto di queste cuffie pagate circa 70 euro. Resa sonora paragonabile a modelli di prezzo molto più elevato, ( in realtà alla data della loro uscita sul mercato il prezzo di acquisto era molto più alto). Le trovo più apprezzabili abbinate ad ampli-dag su computer piuttosto che per ascolto di musica su smartphone ove mi paiono molto meno soddisfacenti. Ribadisco, a mio parere ottime cuffie

Performance:Le son est bien joli, j'adoreLa fonction ANC est pas mal, meme il n'est pas assez performant que QC20, mais le meme niveau que QC25. En plus, La batterie se dure tres longtemps, 30h enriron (genial !!) Et la fonction ANC peut etre utiliser sans avec portable / le source d'audio. (tres pratique)Le cable fourni ne permet pas controler le volume en appareils Android (un peu decu)Design:Bien joli si on voit les photos, mais apres recu, mes amis tous pensent que le couleur Titan est mieux.Il est lourd.Il n'est pas vraiment confortable et c'est la raison je le retourne finalement. Apres 1h ou 2h (maximum), les oreilles ont beaucoup de mal.Les cables sont pas tres robust (ils sont tous parfaits au debut, mais ils ont des signes de mauvais contact apres 2 semaines ... )En gros, un casque interessant et je donne 4 etoiles.(Je le retourne n'est pas parce qu'il n'est pas bon, mais justement il ne conforme pas a mes besoins: confortable + super ANC)Merci Amazon !! Hace años tuve los mismos audífonos, pero en negros y me encantaban, hasta que un día se dejaron de escuchar por el lado de la bocina derecha. Aún así volví a comprar estos audífonos en una muy buena oferta, ya que tienen excelente calidad de audio, comodidad e incluye demasiados accesorios y todos de calidad premium.
