Lubricates better than the finest oils I have worked with!
Yes I bought it for its primary purpose and yes I have taken knives with this or a carborundum razor stone to White literally shaving razor sharpness. But strictly has an oil it is the finest lubricant I have ever worked with. How's an example, leg extension exercise device always squeaked and ran rough for the past 30 years. Four drops of this and I can't feel the movement of the steel against steel!

Best I've ever used
I've tried several different brands of honing oil/fluid and most all of them require a lot of reapplication throughout the honing process. I won't mention any specific brands but some of them dry up about as quick as water. This Norton honing oil only requires enough to just cover the surface and it lasts for the entire session. I have yet to have to reapply. It might be a couple dollars more but definitely worth every penny.

Good light stone oil.
It does what it should and with no noticeable odor, which for me is a plus. It’s a good value compared to some of the other brands out there. My only complaint was the flip up nozzle is a little tricky, but that could be due to my old arthritic fingers more than and engineering production issue.

Received 19th September 2025. Norton product so you can trust it is right. Supplied in handy can. Worth waiting for as it came from USA. Was it value for money. If I had brought cheaper would if have been ok?
