This soap is simply FANTASTIC!My husband is picky about bar soap because many of them dry out his skin. Some are too creamy and don't exfoliate whatsoever. After a long, sweaty workout, he likes something that is going to give his skin a deep clean. Needless to say, he was excited to try this soap.You get six bars of soap in this bundle and boy do they smell great!!! I could smell the mint as soon as I opened the box. I think they have a strong spearmint fragrance. It's very fresh and invigorating. The fragrance lingers on your skin for some time, too, which is nice.I love the addition of detoxifying charcoal. It's a hot trend right now and something I love using in my skincare products.The soap lathers up nicely and rinses easily. No slimy residue left behind on your skin.My husband loved how well the soap exfoliated his skin. It wasn't overly abrasive but may still be a little much for those with super sensitive skin. It got a bit more abrasive as the bar got smaller and smaller.If you have really dry, parched skin, this soap may dry your skin out even more. My husband has oily skin so it didn't dry out his skin too much. However, when I tried it, it did leave my skin feeling a bit tight. I apply body lotion after my showers anyway so it wasn't a big deal but might be a deal breaker for those that prefer a moisturizing soap.

I love mint scents, but wintergreen and spearmint- not as much as peppermint. This soap smells a lot more like the two former than the latter, but it's still a nice smell.This soap lathers nicely, and I love the exfoliating bits in it. I use this soap before my leg shaving regimen to help slough off dead skin cells, and it works great without causing my sensitive skin to break out.This soap is one of my favorites to use after a day of dirty work, or after getting sweaty- it leaves my skin feeling very clean! The scent doesn't linger after use, and doesn't interfere with my perfumes and scented body oils or lotions.I find this soap to be drying for me, but nearly all bar soaps are drying on my skin. This one doesn't leave a film like some do, and since I always use body oils after a shower, the dryness isn't a problem.I'm very happy with this soap, and how clean it makes me feel! At the current price of $30 for six bars, that's just a little bit over what I pay for other all-natural soaps that are a bigger bar- but even those have broken out my skin when I shave, and some varieties will leave a film. My husband and I love charcoal soap, but it's become harder to find where we live. So I was eager to try this soap. The box came with 6 rather large bars, and we could smell the mint right away. They smell great.We initially only used it as a hand soap, as I am sensitive to scented products. It lathers quickly and fully, and the mint scent does not linger on your skin. That was important for me, since even good smells can make me cough when my chemical sensitivities are flared up.When I used it in the shower, though, to wash my face (I otherwise use body wash), the skin on my ears began to itch. I wasn't sure it was the soap and used it two more times. Itchiness both times. I switched back to my unscented pure glycerin soap, and the itching stopped. So now only my husband uses it, and he loves it.So if you don't have any sensitivities, this is an excellent soap. It lasts a while, too. Great value. But if you are sensitive at all, I'd steer clear.

This is good soap! It creates a decent lather cleanses really well, and doesn't strip my skin. The sweet peppermint scent is quite refreshing, and it works well for both men or women.Note that there are small bits of soap shavings in the box, and there's a small hole cut into the box. This Charcoal Bar Soap has a pleasing moderate minty scent, as I sniffed the bar.It lathers up decently, providing a fair amount of bubbles. I like the wonderful scent the soap bar gives off during my showering.It cleans my skin well, removing the dirt/grime off my skin that accumulates in between showers. While this soap works well to clean my skin, it does not feel rough during application. I like the fresh feeling I get once I am out of the shower.I like the high quality manner in which this soap is made: no phthalates/sulfates/parabens/EDTA/gluten/animal by-products/artificial fragrances/colorants, and Made in America. It's cruelty-free, gluten-free, and vegan.Overall, I enjoy using this soap, where its combination of charcoal, organic hemp oil, and mint oil work to leave me feeling refreshed.
