I had been carrying a Ridge wallet for a couple of years and while it was fine, the problem is that it competes for front-pocket space with my keys. Meanwhile since it's rigid, you can't comfortably sit on it so my back pockets went unused. Finally, if you use cash at all the Ridge sucks for that. I realize that's a dwindling minority in many places, but still worth noting.Anyway, onto the Allett. I absolutely love this design because I could use it as a front-pocket wallet if I wanted to, but it works equally well in a back pocket. It's thin enough to sit on all day without noticing. It weighs basically nothing, but should be plenty durable (and washable!) being made of rip-stop nylon. Having two separate pockets for cash can be very helpful in some cases when traveling, and you can't beat a bi-fold design for bills. I only need to carry my ID and two cards (Apple Wallet for everything else) so the card space is more than adequate. The grippy, textured strips to retain cards are a brilliant feature I've never seen from any other brand.I love always having a pen without having to carry one separately. It's one of those things you may rarely need, but when you do need one there's no substitute. Brilliant add-on.I really can't think of any improvements I'd make. I expect I'll carry this until I wear it out, and then I'll buy another. Highly recommended!
