Wicked Liars: A Dark High School Bully Romance (Windsor Academy Book 1)

Omg Laura Lee, blew me away with this book. I have read her romcom books and loved them and knew I would probably love her bully romance but wow was this completely unexpected in the best of ways. First off this is dark and has so many twists that it makes you unable to put this book down.Jasmine/Jazz is one of my favorite female characters now. I mean this girl lost her mom and is separated from her very young half sister and given to her bio dad she has no idea who he is. Her world is turned upside down and she handles it like a champ. She ends up with an extremely wealthy misogynistic, cold, and creepy father and stepford wife and daughter. What makes this character so relatable and endearing is her never give up or back down attitude. She is bullied and threatened and not once does she back down. This is such a complex and depth character from the start.Kingston, is the typical alpha cocky male with his name and wealth, he is your typical king of the school and bully by nature. Yes he is that character you will definitely hate from time to time but then get glimpses of someone who isn't quite what he seems. So yes you definitely get to have a love/hate relationship with his character. He has tons of secrets and info but you are only going to get a little of it throughout the story so you will be doing the "who done what and what is going on now moments" along with melt your kindle angsty steamy moments with him and Jazz. These two have an enemies to lovers vibe with the bully romance mixed in.If you are looking for an intense what is happening dark bully romance then look no further because this book is packed with so much you can't put it down. I mean that ending is insane and has you screaming what just happened and omg I need to know what's going on. This book has the best main and side characters that make you want more of their stories also. Grab this book get lost in this incredibly intense dark at times book.

Good story it kept my interest from beginning to end. Love but don't like the Kings. Hate and don't like the Queen, especially that biotch Peyton! I detest all the parents and step parents. Every. Single. One. The spice was muy caliente ! The dialogue (teen talk) sounded authentic. And boyeee the rich really are different. A personal hair salon so you can get styled, at home, in the am, before school? Sheesh. Can't wait to read Book 2 . Hang in there Jazz !!!

Doing a review for 3 books at one time is kind hard but I’m gonna do my best!These two grew up very different and after Jasmine’s mom dies she has to move in with her dad that has never wanted anything to do with her. That also means starting a new school that comes with expectations because of her “new” last name. She also gains a stepsister that is a real piece of work….From the moment she stepped on campus she had the attention of Kingston, Bentley and Reed (a.k.a the kings). Kingston and Peyton (jasmine’s stepsister) have an agreement but things start to change.Bentley is insanely flirty, Kingston is a bully and a flirt when he wants to be, Reed kinda stays to himself. Kingston has been doing some digging into his father and Jasmine’s father for the past two years but he thinks Jasmine is going to be trouble.Kingston and Jasmine overhear a conversation that sets off a lot of questions from Jasmine. Kingston promises to tell her everything but not yet.Kingston starts to have feelings for Jasmine and gets super protective especially after finding her looking lifeless by the lake covered in blood.Kingston keeps digging, more secrets come out… Bentley has a breakdown with Jasmine…Kingston does some super sweet things for Jasmine. She is beyond conflicted with her feelings for him because of how they started but he has made it perfectly clear now on how he feels about her.I was not expecting the people who hurt her and continued to mess with her to be who they were. They all get what’s coming to them though and the boys and Jasmine FINALLY have what they need to end all of the craziness!⚠️CHECK WARNINGS⚠️I love how hard he loves her.I love that Kingston calls her baby, and goes from princess to queen.I love that Bentley calls her babygirl and jazzy jazz.I love her and Bentleys friendship.I love how he wants to spoil her.I love how strong she is.I love their banter.I love everything he does for Jasmines little sister.I love her friendship with Kingston’s sister.

Now that I didn’t seen coming, your baited thought out to know what is real and what isn’t and just when you think you figured it out.. BAM not even close and then you feel so emotionally affected..

I couldn't really get into the dialogue which made the characters a bit unbelievable. This may be because I'm a bit sensitive to an adoption plot, but there was very little to hook me in and seemed obvious where the series would go based on the first few pages. Not my favorite book by Laura, not interested in the series.

This is a good start to this series. The pace of the story moves along nicely, and the content is interesting. Kingston and Jazz have some good chemistry. Although, after the video incident, I was hoping she didn't just let it go as easily as she did.

I've had this book on my TBR for awhile and finally pushed it up to the top.What a great read and my mind is blown away by the ending. I'm so glad I don't have to wait for the next one to come out to get a little resolution.

Amazon showcased her book, and since it's been ages since I've read an academy bully book, I thought I'd give it a try.I've been suffering through a severe book slump for 9 months, and it's been difficult to find a book I get lost in. Well, I couldn't put this down. I very much enjoyed it. Yes, it follows very similar themes (so far) to other bully books, but the writing was engaging, and I've enjoyed the characters.The ending left me 🤯 and I'm going to be diving straight into book 2.Definitely recommended.

This gutted me. I am jumping to book two now. I wasn’t expecting something like this and I looooove it. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

I give it 4 start only because of the nonsense in the last chapter which was not required.........they are teenagers for Sake!!

Wow. What can I say? This book was fantastic. Bought it on a whim and was in no way disappointed. It hooked me from the start and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I've read alot of bully romance and this one is up there with my favourites. Do yourself a favour and download it NOW.

I finished this in one day. I love me a good bully romance and this one delivered. The angst, the games and the suspense…too good. Now on to book 2 cause this cliffhanger got me shook!
