Tutorial needed to help understand instructions
I bought this book as an introduction to crocheting patterns and stuff other than amiguri and beanies. But as soon as I started reading the instructions I was already stumped. Most books I've purchased provided instructions for each stitch type in the front of the book you can refer to, but nothing came with this one. I have to Google what some of these stitches mean and was still stumped by how the instructions were written. I wish there was a way to ask questions to the community. I had hoped the book would provide links online for tutorials etc to but no luck. It's now past the return period and I have a book I can't use... Otherwise I would've loved to have tried some of these designs

Beautiful yet simple patterns
I love this book. It has a variety of wearables. I have made several already and have several more on my list to make. Salena’s patterns are well written and tested and if there there are questions she will respond.

Styles outdated.
I did not like this book. I felt the styles were nothing special or nothing new and unique. Any style in this book you can find elsewhere.
