Natural Dried Cantaloupe Spears, 16 oz Bag. No Sulfits. Low Sugar

The fruit remains soft and is really, really sweet -- definitely "nature's candy." I bought them to use in home baked scones, but my family ate them right out of the bag before I could. We will order them again.

I've tried a number of different brands. Some online, some from high end organic supermarkets, some overseas. So far these are the best I have had. Not super hard, not super sweet. They are sweet, make no mistake, but from what I have tried, definitely not the sweetest. Better than fresh cantaloupe? No way. Better than a pint of melon flavored ice cream...you bet. I will purchase again.

It's very difficult to find dried cantaloupe, and it has an indescribably delicious flavor, and this is no exception. However, I would not describe this product as "low sugar" to any stretch of the imagination. They are impregnated with sugar and coated in a thick layer of sugar, and a large spear has as much sugar as a can of soda. So, a little disappointed in the description, but as a sweet treat on occasion, it hits the spot. I used to get dried cantaloupe spears from a health food store years ago that truly contained no added sugar, but they went out of business and I've never been able to find it again. So, not really "low sugar," but still delicious.

Love dried Cantelope so delicious. For those that are looking for a sugar free option you cannot do that with dried cantaloupe. I eat this as a dessert it is super yummy if you love Cantelope

Receive product quickly and have tried it. Ordered the cantaloupe. Nice big pieces and very soft and tasty. However, it tastes more like mango vs cantaloupe. Either way, the product is good, thus my rating on the flavor, but not positive I got what I ordered.

Super delicious but very very sweet and very very difficult to NOT eat!!!!! YUM!!!!!

I have had other brands of dried cantelope before. This was a good texture. Sweetness to be expected. But the after-taste of chemicals - I could not handle it. Went in the trash after trying a couple pieces.
