This my 5th kit, so I feel qualified to offer a few tops. When you’ve finished admiring the design, production and the expertise of the layout of the boards, step back and say, have I got the patience to pull this off - you will need it. Be careful when extracting pieces from the boards, as ther pieces come loose, as they have very close neighbours. For the very difficult pieces a craft knife helps, and for the very small , pair of tweezers are useful. They are superb kits, but remember, there’s a place for everything and everything in its place. Some pieces are designed to be a tight fit, that’s the principle behind these kits.Have fun!

Was simple to put together though i would recommend a small scalpel as the plywood can sometimes split when removing the smaller pieces from the board.

Delivered quick , item as stated. Haven’t attempted to put it together yet but it Looks very complicated , only moan short English instructions on first section then you have to scan rest of instructions

I had looked at this before and thought "aint got time for this", but I eventually purchased it anyway, and what can I say? Firstly spend at least an hour looking at all the parts and instructions in the well presented box thinking where to start. Once you do eventually start make sure to sand all the little bits off the edges as you pop them out as the end result does look so much neater. The parts do come apart easily if you think you have made a mistake but they do break easily too, but no worries as there is spare ones provided but not many. A couple of points to note. On the 3rd picture is the rear of the model this section in the booklet is quite vague and says to use 4 plastic bushes, this is too many so use 3 and fit like I've done here. You may find this makes more sense when building it. Also photo 2 is the most complicated bit on this model and as you can see it snapped as I put the leg bits in the wrong way, but a decent wood glue sorts this out, looks nasty but works, I might paint this bit black with a permanent marker pen. Also the little label with the brass screws I would advise putting this bit on before anything else as it's quite a challenge once it's complete and add the legs too as when your building it gets on your nerves not staying put, should be noted this does exert a little extra pressure to the board so go easy. Overall its a lovely little pass time, I would say its taken a little over 7 hrs to build and about an extra hour fine tuning, just to prevent the balls getting stuck on certain bits where the track hasn't been connected correctly. I love this product and will certainly be buying more. Now to see if I can hook up a small motor to turn that big wheel.

I'm in my late seventies and a keen modelmaker.I have constructed a few of these 'puzzles' now and find them very therapeutic to build. The designers of these kits are very clever, and a bit sadistic as these are a challenge at times. This 'puzzle', I don't know why they refer to them as this and not just construction kits, took me three full days to construct and it was worth it. The instructions are mainly pictorial with some text for guidance and I recommend going over them very methodically as it's very easy to miss something out, just don't rush things.Overall I can recommend these 'puzzles' but if it's your first time I suggest starting off with one of the smaller one's, unless of course you're already a modeller in which case you'll be ok.

Excellent project, superbly cut ready for assembly. Instructions are great, think lego, every step very clear. It is tricky to build and requires a deft touch, and in my case long nose pliers at times. Would definitely buy another kit from this manufacturer

These sets are great for kids who’ve outgrown Lego and need something more complex.As a carpenter, I’d love to build these too if I had time and space for them..These are precisely made, but need to be assembled with real care, personally I’d spend time with a file to make the edges nicer and components fit together nicer, I’d also recommend having superglue to hand, even though it’s not strictly necessary, just some components will benefit from the extra rigidity.

Diese Murmelbahn ist wirklich hochwertig. Der Aufbau ist komplex, aber sehr gut beschrieben. Alles passt ineinander, und auch nach Monaten des Bespielens läuft alles noch geschmeidig. Ein paar Elemente haben sich mit der Zeit gelockert, aber das ist bei Holz normal, das Material arbeitet ja noch. Mit ein paar Tricks bekommt man das wieder hin, hier haben sich zB kleine Gummiringe hilfreich erwiesen.Die einzelnen Teile sind sehr gut ausgestanzt und lassen sich leicht lösen. Der Aufbau ist eher für Erwachsene oder begabte Jugendliche, meine Kinder waren damit überfordert. Macht aber nix, ich hatte Spaß!! Besser als puzzeln!

Très sympa mais fragile et à offrir à un adulte habile et soigneux, beaucoup de petites pièces

Vorab: man braucht wirklich nichts dazu. Es ist alles dabei inklusive Wachsstäbchen zum schmieren, Schleifpapier und (lasergeschnittenem) Schraubenschlüssel. Das hat man nicht immer.Die Anleitung hat ein mehrsprachiges Vorwort zur Symbolerklärung, auch deutsch. Der Zusammenbau an sich wird ohne Worte gezeigt. Alles ist immer komplett beschriftet. An Stellen mit der gefahr von Verwechslungen oder verdrehtem Einbau gibt es Detailvergrößerungen und Kennzeichnungen um Fehler zu vermeiden. Baugruppen haben wieder eine eigene Kennzeichnung. Es gab nicht einen Moment der Unsicherheit, wie etwas gemacht werden soll. Selten eine so gute Anleitung erlebt.Die Teile sind sehr präzise. Bei mir hat alles perfekt gepasst. An einigen Stellen dachte ich, das wäre etwas wackelig. Aber wenn die Baugruppe dann mit allen Teilen fertig war hat es jedesmal seht gut gepasst und war stabil. Von den grössten teilen bis zu den mm-grossen Verbindungsstäbchen hat alles direkt gepasst. Eine gewisse Vorsicht beim Zusammenbau muss man bei solch kleinen Teilen natürlich schon walten lassen, aber mit etwas Aufmerksamkeit und Geduld geht es wunderbar. Schleifen musste ich immer nur bei den Teilen, die sich nachher bewegen und dabei nicht blockieren sollen, aber nie für den Zusammenbau an sich.Nicht zu vergessen sind auch vor allem kleinere Teile mehr als nötig im Bausatz. Wer so ein mm-Teil im dicken Teppich versenkt muß sich nicht grämen, es gibt Ersatz. Wäre nur schön, wenn das in der Einleitung erwähnt würde. Ich dachte erst ich hätte was übersehen und hat schon gedauert bis ich gemerkt habe, das da Ersatzteile beigefügt sind....Wenn man an den wenigen beweglichen Teilen schön glatt schleift und wie angegeben ausreichend wachst läuft es auch sehr schön. Bei uns ist es jetzt schon einige Zeit fertig und keiner kann dem Drang wiederstehen immer mal wieder ein paar Kugeln rollen zu lassen. Eigentlich jedes Mal wenn man vorbeikommt. Bis jetzt zeigt sich keine Schwäche. Und wenn es mal so weit wäre könnte man das notfalls auch mit einem Tropfen Kleber wieder in Ordnung bringen. Aber das sehe ich erstmal nicht.Anzumerken bleibt, daß die Anleitung genau befolgt werden sollte. Insbesondere die Ausrichtung der Bahnteile zueinander muß genau passen, sonst bleiben die Kugeln irgendwo liegen. Das Gefälle ist knapp kalkuliert und muss genau stimmen. Und ab und zu springt auch mal eine Kugel aus der Bahn. Da habe ich es noch nicht geschafft, das mit korrigierter Ausrichtung ganz in den Griff zu bekommen. Vielleicht montiere ich da noch das eine oder andere Zusatzteil, um die Bahnbegrenzung zu verbessern. Aber das ist selten genug, um auch so nicht zu stören.Alles in allem würde ich das sofort wieder kaufen. Wahrscheinlich verschenke ich das auch mal an andere Interessierte oder kaufe mir einen der anderen Bausätze.
