Fatwood 10 lbs Firestarting Sticks Hand Cut in USA Fireplace Camping Emergencies

First off, Seller amazing, When I was sent magnesium shaving rather than the 3 lbs of fatwood I ordered, I was told sorry about that, Keep the mag shavings, we hope you find a use for it. :D oh yeah, I found a use! My correct order was sent and arrived quickly. As soon as I opened the package I new I had a good thing, the smell was strong.all the pieces are good, but some are great, Most are translucent and literally shine a light thru they are so impregnated. Completely satisfied with product and the free mag shavings, I have carved some the the bigger pieces into fat-wood sticks attached to my ferro rods. and the shavings I mixed with the mag shavings for maya dust/mag shaving tinder combo. My bush-craft kit just got an upgrade :D

Let me start by saying I don't have access to many softwoods in my area, mainly hardwoods. So finding fatwood is almost impossible, let alone very time consuming. I like to camp and love bushcraft, so needing a supply of fatwood is a necessity. I'm well pleased with my purchase. I received a HUGE amount of fatwood sticks. Maybe enough to last a couple of seasons. I shaved some of the fatwood stick off and it lit up with maybe one or two strikes from the ferro rod. Great stuff. The shipment arrived faster than expected. I haven't been this pleasantly surprised from an amazon order in a long time. Will definitely be buying from the seller again. If you don't have the natural resources in your area to harvest fatwood, this is the next best thing. You will not be disappointed.

There’s not enough good things to say about these, They light up like they’re soaked in gasoline. I shaved a little of the stick off, and hit it with the ferro rod, they immediately took to flame. perfect for throwing one in your backpack, The only down side i’d say, is the resin makes these baby’s harder to scrape shavings from, but other then that, they work perfect.

I have bought a few different items from Steve kaiser and all of them have been great,I just recieved the 3 one pound bags if fatwood and I must say I am impressed by the quality.the wood is almost sticky with resin and lights very quickly,I know I could buy bulk from other sellers but Im not sure the quality would be there.I will definitely be buying more of his products in the near future...

Ferro rod bestie. Used about a teaspoon of shaving and was able to get my fire started with easy. Paired with morakniv "light my fire" combo.

I got these to put in my pack for bush crafting and they work great.

There is no screwing around here. This stuff is red and sticky, near impossible to shave with out making your knife dull, gives off black smoke when lit. Never used anything like it. Like hard crayon!
