Philips Sonicare 3100 Electric Toothbrush, Sonic Toothbrush, Pressure Sensor and Timer, Sugar Rose, Model HX3671/11

I have just replaced the same model after 3 years of continuous service. My dentist noticed the difference at the first appointment after changing from O-B to this, it is a much more thorough clean and my teeth are whiter for it. The toothbrush is easy to use with only on/off controls, and is substantial without being too large or small. The charge lasts a month with 2 cycles a day and it beeps every 30 seconds during the 2 minute cycle, turning off at the end. Towards the end of its life, the charge in the last brush still lasted over 2 weeks, with no loss of performance. I replaced it because the rubber on the on/off button wore through and it simply stopped working. I ordered that evening and the brush arrived the next day. The brush heads are quite expensive to replace with genuine heads, but after buying my first pack of 4 'compatible' heads, 2 failed to vibrate, none had the pressure sensor and the wear indicators didn't wear off at all! The brush head that comes with the unit is a bit too soft for my lking, but others may get on well with it. There is plenty of choice when t comes to replacements. Finally, the charging stand works by USB-A (big one) and I plug it into my laptop to charge. It beeps to tell you it is charging and there is a light indicator that tells you it is fully charged (around 24 hours from empty). All in, it is a powerful toothbrush that should last you for years and is recyclable at your local recycling centre.

I enjoy cleaning my teeth with this brush. It cleans my teeth well, right around the whole mouth and even on my tongue. It has strong yet soft bristles helping me to clean all the crevices, leaving my teeth clean and white. I change the brush every 3 months for ideal cleaning. The brush/ battery and connection was a very reasonable price. The vibration is good and not overpowering or noisy. A very good buy.

Not entirely sure about this yet. Haven't had a Phillips before, have used Fairywill for years as they are a lot cheaper. Thought I'd go for a well known brand with a good reputation to see if it made any difference. The battery on the Fairywill lasts for ages for a couple of years. It was failing so I got this new Phillips. I found the brush quite harsh after the other brand but have got used to it. Have an hygienist appointment this week so will see if this has made a difference after a couple of months use. Have to say the battery doesn't last more than a few days, dont think it would last two weeks on holiday. Which is disappointing.

Cleans teeth perfectly. The charge lasts a long time, about 10 uses. Be careful for those who are afraid to go to the dentist - the vibration during cleaning is similar to that when drilling a tooth. The disadvantages include an unclear indication when charging. I still do not understand whether the brush is fully charged or not. Also, original brushes from Philips are quite expensive, it is worth looking for an alternative. Otherwise, an excellent electric brush. I like it more in comparison with rotary ones from another well-known brand.

Very good product. I moved from Oral B to Philips and I am very happy with the results so far. Great value and keeps charge for a very long time.

I find this a very easy brush to use and very effective. It is much more powerful than the Fairywill model I’m replacing. There are programme controls for the intensity of vibration, but I’m happy that they aren’t intrusive and the single operating button will ‘just work’ as an on-off switch and let you brush your teeth without thinking after you’ve set your preferred mode.While brushing there’s an optional beep at 30 second intervals in the two minute timed operation to help pace your tour round your denticles. If you press too hard, the brush beeps at you so it trains you not to exceed optimum pressure.Recharging is by way of a supplied charging stand that has a USB-A connection cable.All the beeps etc can be switched off using power button sequences while the brush is on its charging stand. It’s also possoble to select an “introductory programme” that gradually ramps up the intensity of brushing over two weeks if transitioning to an electric brush for the first time.I’m very happy with this brush, and coincidentally my dentist mentioned Philips Sonicare first when she asked if I used an electric toothbrush. It's currently very good value, and £3 cheaper than when I bought it a month ago.

Purchased in December 2025, broke in May 2026 (won't hold a charge). I sent it back for repair and they literally sent me back my broken toothbrush (that still won't hold a charge). I'm trying to get this fixed but it's nearly impossible to get anything done as they have "repaired" it. It's great until it's breaks.

Super portable, high quality tooth brush that is easy to use. Great vibrations make it a great brush!
