After finding a pice of my plastic sponge in my food I decided to try plastic free sponges. These eco-friendly sponges are excellent quality get the job done brilliantly. No awful bobbley plastic bits and great absorbency for general cleaning too, I use these to clean the high hair, dinner table, dishes and the bath. I’ve been using these for quite a while now!

Absolutely brilliant, another small step to reduce plastics. Lasting well so far and no smell when left out to dry off.

3.5 out of 5.Love the concept and bought to minimise plastic waste at home.I found that the sponge made lots of bubbles with the washing up liquid (Fairy, size of a 2p coin on sponge) and was enough to clean 4 food storage containers.It's been used for 20 days, cleaning mostly pots/pans/plastic containers and has been in the dishwasher twice. No bleach has been near it as you can probably tell!It's taken out burnt bits after pans have been soaked. Doesn't smell. It does have a slight firmness to it.I would like it wash more pots etc with a single squirt of washing up liquid. I find I'm adding more soap after washing just two pans, for example.The next sponge I'll use SMOL washing up liquid to see if that makes any difference!My husband hates it.

I am always looking for little swaps i can afford to do to remove throw away plastics. Sponges are a bugbear of mine but i've always stuggled to find a really good fit. The previous reviews on this product help me see the difference between compostable sponges like these and other biodgradeable brands that actyaully can use harmful glues etc to hold the sponges together. My big worry was cost, obviously more natural products are quicte pricey when compared to the awful disposable 75p packs of 5 or so you can grab at a supermarket. But i am so happy with these. I am still on my first sponge (now august, purchased May) its only really just started to degrade to the point of considering swapping it out. its durable cleans really well, its only just breaking down a little bit. Its easy to clean the sponge itself, it doesn't seem to hold onto old food bits / stains / smells. This is the thing i am most happy with, even now at the point of looking to move onto the next sponge, it still doesn't smell! had so much trouble with constantly trying to find new ways to wash / clean / bleach smelly sponges (no dishwasher which seems to be the main way!) with not much luck, and these ones just seem to clean out so easily that no nasty smelly residues seem to hold on at all. really happy, they are a grat value purchase considering how long they can last and what a great job they do. I don't have to feel guilty when its time to move on to the next sponge either as i know it will all naturally break down. Small wins where we can!

I bought a pack of six in August and have just thrown the first one away! It was by no means on its last legs but the two sides had separated. If I hadn’t got five more I would’ve continued to use it. Absolutely brilliant. Never discoloured or got slimey or threadbare. They’re made to last and do exactly what they should.

I have tried a few others and this one is by far the best! They are easy to bend for washing the rim of plates, one side with loafer with good scrubbing function, the other side is great for creating bubbles and soft. Almost like the normal plastic sponge but way better for the environment. Just the right thickness to me. Very happy with them and will continue buying.

Soft and easy to use, but breaks down easily. I tend to wash and sanitise my sponges but this one I cannot stretch it far, maybe a month , as it starts to break apart. And keep in mind that I barely use it as I mainly use my washing machine so i can easily keep using the same sponge for around 2 months.Also it doesn’t make much of a foam, that I usually relay on , to know i got enough product on the sponge.Positive: soft so easy to hold and mold into places. Does not separate from scourerWill not purchase again
