My 4y/o son (and husband!) have been having a blast building all kinds of creative things out of these Clixo pieces. Will likely be ordering more soon to have more pieces to build even larger structures!

I recently purchased the Clixo Grip and Stick magnetic building toy kit for my son, and was blown away by the creativity and versatility of this toy. The set comes with 24 pieces that are made of durable synthetic paper, securely-attached magnets, and kid-safe polymers that meet all key safety standards. My kid loves building toys, especially magnetic ones like Magformers. While there are many types of "block-based" magnetic building sets, this one from Clixo is great since it's so different. It forces my kid to think in different ways than stacking blocks. The pieces are made of flexible plastic and can be twisted and joined in innumerable ways to make shapes and structures that are just not possible or not elegant with the other block sets. The only thing is that these need to be bent and twisted but not too much, otherwise they may form permanent creases or break, and for a kid, it's sometimes difficult to know that. The edges are flat but not sharp so it should be safe to use. The set we got has only 24 so depending on how long this captivates his attention, I might end up getting more. I think this is worth a dekko for its uniqueness as a magnetic building toy.

I stuck these on the fridge and everyone who was in the house seemed to enjoy messing around with them. My 3 yo granddaughter played for hours with them which was good because I picked them out to entertain her. However, I was surprised at how much the adults like them as well! Every time I came into the kitchen it seemed like someone had moved them around. This went on for an entire week! The magnets were strong enough to stay on, but not so strong as to scratch the surface. There were also suction cups for using on windows, which would open these up to using in other areas. Overall, I was very happy with this and see it being entertaining for a while. So far none of the pieces are damaged. I was worried the material would get bent/creased but unless someone is extremely rough it seems like they are pretty durable.

Our house has a large picture window next to our dining table, and I knew it would be perfect for this toy. My nephew loves it, and can easily stick the suction cup to the window to get the whole thing started. The magnets are really strong and allow him to correctly place the pieces so they spin and move correctly. I really like the open ended play opportunities this offers, since he can move and construct in ways only limited by his imagination. The pieces are flexible and not easily broken, at least so far. A really charming, unusual toy.

I was pretty sure my prechooler kiddo would somewhat like these but she *loves* them! She enjoys building things, sticking things to other things, stacking things, etc., and these provide a new and different experience that encompasses those. The best part is that these are waterproof. Ever since she found those out these are a must-have for *every* bath night. She sometimes spends an entire bath playing with these- building new creations, spinning them around, and "fishing" with them. My only gripe is that they are a bit pricey- right now they are averaging $1 to $1.50 per piece when you buy a set, and that seems pretty steep for what you get. If the price dropped significantly on these we would definitely buy a ton more.

My 4.5 year old and 5.5 year old didn’t care for these at all. They were intrigued at first due to the unique material and shape they came in, but quickly lost interest and claimed it was too hard to put something together. Mind you, they’re the type to typically spend hours with Legos, so building things is their jam and this just didn’t hit.The thing that they played with for a bit longer was the little spinner ball piece that allowed them to spin a piece when stuck onto the fridge. It does come flying off easily and then it became a choking hazard for my 1.5 year old so I quickly took those away.Comes with what looks like a compostable box, with a lid that doesn’t click or anything. Just sits on top, and you have to unfold and put all the pieces back right just for the lid to sit properly.This set may be good for those who are older like an 8 year old, but even though they said 4 and up, wasn’t a hit in our house.

So my 4yr old didn't care for these and I tried to play with him and it lasted like 10min and he was off to his other toys.. Maybe in a few months/yr he will like them but they didn't grab his attention like I thought they would.. I can see them being durable because they are a nice plastic that's bendable.. Arrived on time as promised,came with a container to hold them but if you don't bend them and connect the magnet you will not be able to keep the top on the container...

My 6 yr old grandson was instantly enthralled with the Clixo set we gave him for Christmas. Endless opportunities for creative fun! A well made product, and nicely packaged.
