This is a great book, nice size and lovely women. I like bigger books and this fills the bill on size and content, lots of good clear photos in manny different seting,all spread just right.

I love the way Kern takes photogrophs of ordinary girls in ways that result like normal, or that you may think can be happening in your actual home.

This collection of photos by Kern lived up to the statements made in the advertising for it.The colors are stunning and the models are beautiful and very professional in appears.I am pleased to have purchased it.

I like Kern, so this is sort of a ringer review. The book is nicely bound. It is a good size as well. I like the commentary that prefaces some of the sections. If you aren't familiar with Kern's work, then google him before you spend the money.

I chose this book based on a couple of reviews. One said that if one liked Richard Kern's previous books then one would like this one. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have two of Richard Kern's previous books and like them very much, so I was confident about ordering this one sight unseen. It is nothing like his previous books. Shot by Kern was pictorially disappointing and the subject material was not appealing. Many of the women were not really attractive, at least to me. I found the book to be boring, and I certainly did not wish to ever look at it again. His previous books were visually stimulating, but certainly not Shot by Kern.

There is only one bad thing. I haven't found my favorite photograph. But this fact doesn't play role to make a decision "buy it or not" anyway.

I like "Shot by Kern" edited by Dian Hanson. Always looking forward to his highly entertaining photographic work. The book includes several photo series. As Richard Kern travels the world he’s noticed cultural similarities between his models and themes have emerged, from lying in bed, the universality of prescription drugs, to a love of technology, to peering up skirts. And because Mr. Kern has always been fascinated by what women do behind the bathroom door, there is lots of erotism and intimate personal grooming. Well put together, nice and harmless fun.

Happily unclothed, and relaxed. Kern's work is novel in it's ability to expose private moments with fullconsent and appreciation of the subjects.
