Can I get confirmation if these will hold coconut oil? And if so, for how long before it dissolves or turns flimsy?

I use these 00 capsules for oil and I've had no issue with dissolving whatsoever. I do, however, recommend storing your filled capsules in a cool, dry place. I keep mine in the fridge. *Also, be sure the capsule is securely closed. You'll hear a little click when you put them together.

I never got an answer from the company but from what information I found it's based off of pine and poplar trees. You can eat both but it's made from a specific part I forget what it was but basically trees
