Buyer beware
Well packed, looked good to the eye and worked right away - even if it was very slow.Instructions to help with the setting up would have been an advantage.The five minute wait for it to be ready to use, even when going it was awefully slow.Not being technically minded I took it to my local repair shop and asked for advice in setting up some things I was having difficulty with.The report came back that the refurbishment was not to a high standard, the 1TB drive was so damaged it would need repairing, very much as if all that had been done was wipe the discs and re program - without giving the machine a trial run first as the condition would have been apparant.I gave permission for the repairs to go ahead. It now is working as it should have, speedy and smooth.Buyer beware, if a machne is opened it voids the warranty. If a damaged machine is repaired by anyone but the seller it voids the warranty. Even if this is inconvienient its better to give in and return to sender and hope for a speedy resolution to the problemWhat started out as a kindeness of mine by not returning the machne right away has landed me with the repair bill, the seller is refuses quoting the warranty.
