I wanted to love everything about this light. I bought two for my paintings. The light color choices are wonderful and bright enough, the timer is great, the remote works perfectly, and they were easy to install ; but they don't hold a charge for long. I'm having to take them off the wall and charge them every other day for 5-6 hours if I use them for more than a few hours at a time. I tried using them on 50% brightness thinking that would extend the time, but it didn't help much. It's a hassle to take them down to recharge so often, especially one hanging high over a painting that hangs above our fireplace. I don't know if new batteries would help or not. I guess I expected too much from a rechargeable light. I wanted to give five stars, but with the issue I'm having, three is all I can do.

I've always had lights over two of my most prized paintings. But my new house has super high ceilings so I would have to get up on a ladder to turn the lights on. That wasn't an option. I found these and not only do they have a remote so you can turn them on and off with a click of a switch, but the ambiance from them is remarkable. So remarkable in fact that I am having my family order me some for my den, some for my posters in the basement, some for the bar for signed football jerseys I have, some for the dining room paintings.....and they don't suck the batteries dry like I feared. You cannot go wrong with these and the price is right. You won't be disappointed! They make everything look amazing!

I’ve been looking for years for a battery operated light with a remote. Ta dah! Found it! I didn’t want to install a plug outlet behind a painting &/or have a cord (with or without cord cover) hanging down to an outlet. Plus, a couple of my paintings weren’t near an outlet/s. It’s dimmable which is a huge plus. Lights can be rotated to your liking. There is a manual timer, but only up-to 2 hrs. Wish I could set up an on/off timer. Oh well..... Rechargeable batteries using a USB cable. You can either plug it in its’ place or remove it from the base. Very easy to install. Will be ordering 3 more for my other paintings. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Did not come with a remote or screws/template.I can’t change the colors or brightness without the remote. No reply from seller about sending the missing parts.

I would have given this 5 stars, but it isn't ideal for the 4 ft wide painting I'm using it for, so the light doesn't spread nicely across the entire painting. This will be great for a 2 ft wide painting. The color options of cool and warm are great depending the temperature of your painting. Also the dimming option is gradual, so you can set it exactly where you want it. The time option works great as well.

The light is near perfect for our intended purpose. It was well packed, arrived in good condition. The design needs very little improvement. A somewhat flexible neck would be an improvement to make it easier to control the reflections off the LEDs from the glass on framed items. The remote is small and simple; works very well and has decent range. Having to take the mounting box off the wall is simple though having to remove it to recharge is a nuisance. I think I'd like removable/rechargeable batteries better. Only issue was with the documentation. It seems to have written by a speaker of Mandarin who turned it over to someone speaking only Cantonese to translate and who then turned it over to a Japanese speaker to translate into English. Oh, and all involved would have had exceptionally good vision. I had to scan and enlarge the documents to make any use of them. Despite that the product is very nice and I love it.

We were blown away by the cost of high end art lights. But worse we were dissatisfied with the reviews of the supposed high end lights. After exploring every angle for meeting our desire to light our portraits, it made sense to start with these. No need to look any further! We love these. No batteries to add weight and cumbersome future tasks of changing them out. No unsightly cords to plug in. And these rechargeable lamps have an array of pleasing light choices. The Artist is pleased with how his beautiful works are complimented with the lights.

Nice and small. A bit too heavy to use Velcro with, so it was unfortunate that I needed to drill multiple holes to mount such a small and wireless light. My lamp is angled slightly, so it looks crooked all the time compared to an adjacent door and frame. Not quite bright enough for my needs and n lighting up a dartboard. I bought another disc led light that I use as well, and my board is well lit now.

I used it to light a picture and I attached two brackets to the light allowing me to simply slide it behind the frame at the top centre allowing for quick removal for charging and it rests nicely on the top of the frame without having to drill into the frame to apply screws to support the light.
