Toxic but working.
I happy with this product. We moved to new area and I don't know if its the high fox/rabbit population in new area, but our dog got infected somehow and spread it to us next. I had tried multiple shampoo products at the beginning of her mange, sarcoptic mites and none worked. We had been to one vet that initially misdiagnosed her, and gave her prednisone and antibiotic at first which made everything worse. She was losing all her fur in just a few weeks. I was very worried because I know mites can kill a dog if it gets too bad especially at her advanced age. New vet gave our dog revolution and cytopoint injection. Then told us to dip her in lime sulfur dip once a week for 4 weeks. I don't know if its the revolution or this alone but I think both is helping the infestation. Since this stuff is toxic if ingested, we put muzzle on her and cone as well then crated her in the garage after dip. It smells like rotten eggs. I do not recommend doing this in house or wearing any jewelry or clothing that you want to risk getting stained. I wore full disposable painter suit and gloves for process. We have only dipped her once so far but within 48 hrs, I have already seen improvement in her ears and the crust from the mites that had formed there. Now I am starting to see clearer skin. We used bucket and sponge to coat her DRY fur and cotton balls to apply the dip to her ears, careful to not get near her face or eyes. Did not rinse off product per instructions. Poor thing is now a crated dog in our garage at night for next few weeks but its needed until every mite has died. Now disinfecting our house and us is been our next focus since we have discovered the proper diagnosis. With this type of mite its best to treat everyone in house at same time with product made specific for human or dog and type of mite. I even sprayed our yard with permethrin, got permethrin cream from doc for us humans and rewashed everything in hottest water possible( including my cleaning tools), even our clean clothes in closets, plus steam cleaned our furniture/mattresses/rugs and treated mattresses/couch with permethrin lice spray from Walgreen's. Its a very labor intensive process but I'm seeing improvement for our family all around. All of us already itch less in just few days. And I'm happy our beautiful sweet dog is starting to look better again in such a short time.

Effective and stinky!
So it stinks of rotten egg. That's a fact. It will also temporarily stain porcelain a streaky burgundy color -- so don't use it in your tub, like I did. That said, it worked like a dream on my poor, itchy, half-bald dog. My Chihuahua spent two summers scratching himself hairless and raw when we moved to our new house. Now he doesn't. I use this a few times during the summer/fall, give him no other baths, and he is an itch free dog. It's a relief for both of us! Follow the directions, wear gloves (or you will smell too) and understand that if you have a white dog, it will dye him/her (and anything else it comes in contact with). This is an effective product for my dog's skin condition and I'm pleased with it. NOTE: I have found that it can change consistency when container is stored half full. I don't know if it's a chemical change so I just buy a new container.

Too strong, be careful l!!!
It smells strong and is a strong medicine too, that should be applied with precaution. It works, but if the cat lick the medice, for sure will get sick and die.I use for the stray cats that comes to my house to eat, they were all sick from scab, I bought the collars to prevent them from lick, but one of them got out of the collar after scratch my kid, most of them got partialy cure, but one of them got really sick and die few days after apply it. After that happen, I got so sad that I was not able to applied them again to get them completely cure, so they got sick again with scab and keep on been like that. I simply don't have the heart to use it again.

Amazing results
Someone dumped a puppy with severe mange. I washed her with a Benzoyl Peroxide shampoo and warm water. I applied the dip with a washcloth and kitchen gloves. The smell wasn’t too bad, like freshly boiled eggs. I put a donut style cone on her to prevent licking and walked her around the sunny yard till mostly dry.The first photo is during her first wash (Saturday) and the second photo is before her second wash (Friday). I didn’t expect to see results so quickly. I’m continuing the wash and dip till all the mites are gone.

This isn’t the companies fault
Smell is TERRIBLE. Also this can be really harmful the animals. If you are using for ringworm I would really recommend cleaning your area a lot… with diluted bleach when you can … see your vet and get a prescription oral medication and shampoo… and then tr too secluded then more. Ringworm is self containing— it is contagious but I promise goes away. Bought this and get recommended not to use bc it can be toxic/ deadly to animals

It works well
It stinks to high heaven, but my cats actually grew their missing patches of fur back. I'd had to bring my two smallest chickens inside to heal from the larger ones pecking them, and my guess is that they'd brought mites in with them. Thankfully, I'd had them in only one room of the house (in cages), so I set off foggers in that room and it's been closed off and unused for quite awhile to be sure that everything (mites, fleas, spiders, whatever) is gone. Used flea shampoo by Adams and followed with dipping the cats in this, and they grew their fur back and have gained a little weight even (they're very petite-framed to begin with but were too skinny). It's been several months since I used this, so now I intend to treat them with advantage 2 for fleas and praziquantel for tapeworms to be on the safe side. This stuff will leave your house smelling like rotten eggs for at least the better part of a whole day, but it's definitely well worth it. I do recommend getting a cat cone so they don't lick, because mine groomed and acted hostile towards each other for a little while afterwards.Oh! And use OLD towels that you don't care about, because if I'm remembering right, I think it also can stain...
