Love this for wire welding.
Got this for Longevity Mig 140 welder and it fit perfectly. Makes a big difference when wire welding, added visibility when welding compared to the standard tip. Ordered a few more for back up.

Serves no purpose
Your better off cutting slots in a regular nozzle to dissipate the flux. All it does is keep spatter from going in the gas orifice. The tip protrudes way past the nozzle so it can short out and you don't have anything to rest the nozzle on while starting the arc. It might have some advantage if overhead fluxcore welding.
