I wasn’t expecting to like these very much. However, they are my favorite part of my rats cage. They love perching on them and crawling all over.

These wooden platforms for cages are often really expensive and sometimes you get genuinely bad quality items, but these are nice and thick and sanded totally smooth. They're also good sizes for larger rodents like rats. I've purchased a few different sets from both Amazon and some other pet sites, and this set is among the best I've gotten both in quality and price.That being said, each screw point only has one washer and I think adding a second washer, so they could sandwich the bars, would be an immense help. The single-anchor platforms felt a bit wobbly even fully tightened but when I added a second washer on the shelf-side of the bars it helped a ton. Even better would be if there were two anchor points on the long sides of the rectangle platforms.Still, all in all, this is one of the best deals for sets of larger nice quality wood platforms.

Easy to setup and good value for the money. My Chinchilla is intrigued by the new additions. Came packaged nicely too.

They just didn’t last long

My gerbils always manage to knock over ladders and love to jump. Found these perfect to use to get them to raised shelf plus treats I hang from top of cage. I do glue a popsicle stick to edge so they don't slide off. You also can use cork on surface. The gerbils do chew on them sometimes but they are inexpensive to eventually replace. They have a ball on them and use every day.

The item came with the largest piece being broken. This was the main reason I bought the item. With the way it was packaged and the fact that the package had no damage, it seems as though it was damaged before it was boxed. That makes it even more frustrating. The screws that are in the wood to attach it to the cage were not in securely and would fall out or twist when trying to screw the wing nut on. I was really disappointed in the whole product.

I decided to take them down before letting my rat play on them. They are too small and too thin for the screw to properly hold. The corner piece with the hole is the only one I can recommend using. My rat likes to sit on that one and snack. My food dishes actually sit down in the hole. So, not all bad.

i ordered this product twice because it was the perfect amount of ledges for my ray cage. somehow the corner ledge in both of my seperate packages came broken in the same spot. the other ledges were fine and worked nicely but it says a lot how poor the corner ledge is when you can order it two seperate times and it is broken both times. i would recommend buying the smaller ledges individually because i can confidently say your corner ledge will be broken.
