Betadine - Concentrated Sore Throat Gargle - Value Pack (40ml, 1.3 fl oz.)

I took a trip to New Zealand in January. We got talking to our tour leader about healthcare. Toward the end of discussion, our tour leader told us that there was one thing that all Kiwi's keep in their medicine cabinet. ......Betadine gargle. I was not able to go to a chemist while I was there and I really wanted to get some to take home with me. Anyway, when I got home, I thought to myself...check Amazon...and there it was. I ordered it to have on hand. I did not realize it was coming all the way from New Zealand. It finally arrived and about a week later and a few days after it arrived, my throat started feeling a little sore. I gargled with it 3 times that day and once the next morning.......by that evening my sore throat was gone. It comes with a measuring cup and make sure you mix it properly. I will keep it on hand for any future sore throats!!!

Giving one star less only because it is expensive. Otherwise it is very effective. As soon as you notice any throat pain while swallowing, start using it 3 times per day. You will be spared of lot of pain and unnecessary need of tablets. I have been using this since a few yrs now and i always stock up one in my pantry as soon as the bottle gets finished so that it is available to me even in emergencies. You will not find this otc in any cvs walmart walgreen or other pharmacies here!

In Sydney, Australia for New Years celebration 2016-2017 and I purchased this (the pre-deputed version) at the local pharmacy (chemist) for sore throat complaint. Within 1.5 to 2 days the throat pain was gone. Used that bottle and then ordered this one for another throat complaint. (This one has to be diluted and takes awhile to ship to the US, so don’t wait until you need it.)

I didn’t use it. It was from another country and I don’t know their guidelines for this med. The instructions weren’t clear. They were brief and you could barely read them. I will not use it.

I remember my mom swabbing my tonsils with iodine as a kid and it always helped with the soreness. This gargle is just like that. My kids aren’t fans of the taste but it works so it’s not a struggle for them to use it.

As an aussie living in the US i was thrilled to find a way to get this product. It is the best thing for getting rid of a sore throat. I gargle every 4 hours at the start of a sore throat and it is usually gone in a day. The best.

Works good

This is the only thing that cures my sore throat, but I also use betadine as an antiseptic for any cuts/wounds. It's a little1920's but 100% recommend.
