This is awesome! So easy to use. Sturdy and pages are nice. Great photos! A must have to use in your Bible study.

I originally hesitated to purchase this, but I am so glad I went ahead and got it. This has been a wonderful study companion. Written very clearly and easy to navigate to the word, person or place you are wanting more information on. The information it gives is pretty in-depth. It also gives the book, chapter and verse where the word, name or place appears in the bible. This has been a wonderful study tool.

Well made and has a ton of information. The pages are high quality with a ton of pictures and color coded.The book is very well made and I am super happy with the price especially because this book is such high quality.It is my go to during my Bible studies.Highly recommend .

My parents always had this brand bible dictionary when I was growing up. I love that it’s been revised and updated. Make your bible study and daily devotionals even better to understand and breakdown the word of God

Item received with no damage. Using this as an additional reference in my Bible studies. The dictionary is heavy, however, given the fact all the information in this book, I will deal with the weight. Definitions are easy to read and great photos for reference.

Issue:1. The book quality -The first order of the book received, it came in really beat up. The next one I received as a replacement came in a similar manner (not as bad, but close). This issue does not affect the overall product worth.Good:The information within this book is so incredibly rigorous. It’s absolutely a great resource for any Bible student or any student who wants to dig into history. The paper quality is great! The binding of the book is ok, but will hold up! The images and material within the book is what makes it. I’d say this book is one of the best recourses to have in order to know more about biblical history, social life and faith. Thank you.

The Hollman Illustrated Bible Dictionary certainly sets the standard for bible dictionaries. Just received the most current edition (2015). I updated from the 2003 edition. Each new edition states that it "revised and expanded". The description of the 2015 edition states that it is 1800 pages. In reality it is 1710 pages, seven pages less than the 2003 edition. How did the publishers accomplish this? First, the print is somewhat smaller. Secondly, the pictures and especially the maps are significantly smaller. An example: in the 2003 edition there is a 2 page map of the city of Jerusalem at the time of David, very nice. In the 2015 edition, the map has been completely down-graded in detail and appearance. It also has been reduced in size from 2 pages to one-half a page. In my opinion I would not call this expanded, revised certainly.
