Zassenhaus Magnetic Retro Kitchen Timer, Classic Mechanical Cooking Timer (Orange), 2.75-Inch

Got this timer to replace our nightmarishly loud range timer. It rings only once (about 2 seconds) with a pleasing bell once the time is finished. Assuming I don't have music blaring, I can hear the bell fine from upstairs.Downsides: The magnet is a joke, it's very weak. We could not stick it anywhere without having it slide down. We removed this one and replaced with a different magnet. In addition, I was hoping it'd be more "sturdy", feels a bit cheap and plastic.

I love the color and look. Reminds me of the 50s era. Just wish the timer bell would sound off louder and ring longer than a second. Fix that and you'll have a 5star rating .

I was looking for a timer that didn't use batteries and this one meets my needs very well. It's easy to use and I love the yellow color. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it needs to be placed on something metal for the ringer to sound.

Cute little timer. The color is fun; something different than gray! It works well with a short ring which is less annoying than other timers I’ve had. Heavy and substantial feeling.

I appreciate that this timer doesn’t require batteries! It sticks to my vintage white stove with a strong magnet and looks like it belongs. The numbers are a bit small but they are arranged as you’d expect so it’s easy to figure out. The ring could be louder and longer, but doesn’t give me a scare when it goes away off as my now melted plastic model did. So overall it works for my needs. Sometimes I just don’t want to take my phone out to set a timer. This is perfect.

I like the look, I hate the function. Magnetizing this boldly-colored thing to my fridge door looked nice, but after 1 week of gentle and infrequent use, it stopped ringing when it hit zero. 75% of the time that I try to use it, now, when the hand hits 0 it DOESN'T ring, my food inevitably overcooks, and then the second I so much as *tap* it, it suddenly rings. It's like it's getting caught on the last tick before it can sound off...I've tried lying it flat and letting it tick that way, I've tried winding the *exact* amount and I've tried over-winding (going all the way to 55, then coming back to my desired time) and no matter what, this issue persists.I grew up with these things. They used to be bulky and reliable--nearly invincible. This is a cheaply-made impersonation of the old and good stuff. This is the product of corner cutting, inferior machining, and inferior materials. Go find a different maker/product. This is not the one for you (unfortunately).

Timer is very accurate, easy to use and looks cute on the refrig.

Je suis très étonnée car j'avais je même minuteur, mais acheté en magasin. Celui-ci ne fonctionne pas. Il faut letourner 3 ou 4 fois avant qu'il tourne correctement. Il s'arrête parfois et pour un minuteur recette, c'est très très embêtant.

Pas encore utilisé mais belles finitions, il a l'air de bonne qualité et j'aime beaucoup son esthétique.

Bonjour,Minuteur acheté en Mai et correspondant pour l'instant à ce que j'en attendais. Comme d'habitude, je me suis fiée aux commentaires et je ne suis pas déçue. Il donne d'abord une impression de solidité, le métal est assez épais. Je l'ai pris en jaune car ma cuisine est jaune, et la couleur de l'article correspond à la photo. Il adhère parfaitement à la paroi du réfrigérateur et il est bien audible. Pour répondre à ceux qui disent qu'il ne sonne pas pour une petite durée (pour des oeufs à la coque par exemple), c'est tout simplement parce qu'il faut d'abord le tourner jusqu'à 55 minutes pour revenir sur le temps désiré, sinon effectivement il ne sonne pas. Pour des durées d'un quart d'heure par exemple, on le tourne directement jusqu'à 15 minutes et il sonne une fois le temps écoulé.. Dommage que cette petite précision ne soit pas mentionnée, car voilà un minuteur qui marche correctement, encore faut-il avoir les informations nécessaires au préalable. Il serait donc souhaitable que cette indication figure désormais dans le descriptif pour ne pas décevoir les clients sur l'article reçu.
