Nice light weight laptop table
This is a great little laptop table, and we bought one because a friend has one, and likes it. It's light, assembles easily, and serves the purpose better than a snack tray table. The legs are height adjustable, and slide under your chair, or couch, so it brings the table closer to you. At first, I thought the cup holder would be a joke, but we actually use it a lot. The top has three tilt positions, and it would also be nice if they made a fourth position, not so much of an angle from level. Minor observation. A couple of points of interest, I gave it four stars for sturdiness because it's not a rock-solid table, but it's OK. A second minor issue, if you have a 17" laptop or larger, there's no room to use a mouse. It would be nice if it was a few inches wider. We have a wireless mouse for it, and put it on the chair arm to scroll. Again, for us, not a big deal. You probable could buy a better, sturdier table, but it will cost a bunch more. It's perfect for a easy to use, economical table. We wanted a table we could use sitting on the couch, that would bring the laptop closer to us, and this one serves us quite well. The choice of colors is a nice touch.

Great table! Solved many of our needs
Easy to use and holds weight well. We use it to hold laptops or plates and drinks by our couch. It also folds easily to store on the side of our couch or by the TV stand. The drink holder isn’t strong so it only holds cans really. We set any other drink right on the top of the table. Pro’s: light weight, holds basic items, class up easy, adjustable height, stores easily. Cons: drink holder is a bit weaker than I’d like. We use this daily and it’s great overall. Much better than not having a place to set a plate or laptop beside your lap or couch arm.

Stable enough and fits under my IKEA chair
Found myself working from home a LOT in 2020. The other household members got the primo spots, so converted my living room into my home office. All I need is a stereo, a laptop, and some headphones. Got tired of resting the laptop on my lap, so I picked up this table meant for the bed-ridden and infirm to really capture the look of . Easy to assemble - no tools required, aside from scissors/box-cutter to open the box. Took me < 5 minutes. Fits under my IKEA chair - this is where I sit all day. Was important that the leg width was narrow enough to slide under the chair. This is why I bought the "Table Mate II" sized table. Easy to adjust the angle - 3 angles. You just lift up the desk from one side and it comes unclipped, then clip it into the angle you want. Would have liked to have more angle options, but its fine. Your laptop can slide right off if you are careless, but at the angled level I can rest my elbows on the chair armrests while typing. Easy to adjust the height - First, empty the desk. Push in the clickers, slide the leg up or down, get them to click back. Repeat as often as necessary. Is it wobbly? Sure, its a bit wobbly. But I wanted something light, easy to move around, slide around. If you want something super heavy and sturdy, go buy an actual desk. Easy to put away - unclip the desk, then push the clickers in and turn the legs in 90°, and it will store nicely. drink holder - too flimsy, don't trust it, not gonna use it, and its not why I bought this thing. Super ready for home office 2021!

I like it, but the negative reviews are correct so read those before deciding
So far this TV tray is what I expected. I like it and am happy I bought it. That being said, some of the other reviews are right. It's not solid like a rock stable, but it is very light and so I wasn't expecting it to be that way. Mine sits flat on the ground and the bar holding the tray does lock into place. Raising it up and down involves pinching to compress both sides of the pins in in the holes in each leg and this may be difficult for an elderly person or someone with physical limitations. This table can be stored flat but that involves partially disassembling it, so I wouldn't say that storing it flat is at all a feature of this item. The cup holder slides in and out under the tray but it is too small for some of our cups and it's flimsy to the point where I'm not sure I'd trust it told hold my drink. I bought this for my son to take out to our porch to do homework on. I needed something light and small so that I can easily move it in and out of the garage/house everyday. I like how it can be raised and lowered or tilted. The tray itself is large enough for textbooks and other school work. The top is not smooth enough for writing on directly, so we need something under the paper to write on. The reason I chose this model with the curved legs rather than a tray with crossed legs is that I thought we'd accidentally kick this one less. So far I'm glad I got this one, but read the negative reviews as well so you can make a good decision based on your individual needs.

Not the most stable, folding away is a pain
Let me preface all of this by saying: if this product was only $25, it would be absolutely 5 stars in my book. I’m only rating it low because I expected more at this price point. For the money, I was expecting a more sturdy table, especially when fully setup and in a flat position. It’s sturdy enough to work for my purposes (keeping a keyboard and mouse handy while mostly gaming with an Xbox controller), but it’s very easy to make it wobble. It wobbles every time I move my mouse, no matter how gently, and I imagine it would do the same if you were to type anything on the keyboard. I would find this wobble extremely frustrating if I was actually using this for work or school purposes. I also couldn’t imagine using it as a TV dinner tray, as the table would likely sway with you every time you use your knife to cut through something. It’s also a little annoying that it doesn’t easily collapse and set back up; it’s a fairly involved process. You have to manually adjust and set each leg into the folded position by lining up the little push-pegs with the corresponding hole, which as someone who’s only done it a couple times I can tell you it’s not quick or intuitive. Once fully collapsed it does take up about half the space of a traditional wooden TV dinner stand, but it also takes about 10x the effort to collapse, and just as much effort to set back up. You’re practically disassembling and reassembling it every time. With it being such an involved process to stow away/set up, they might as well have included a removable cross-bar for the legs so that this thing might actually be sturdy. My only other complaint is one that I can’t really blame on the product, because I failed to measure my keyboard and mouse before buying this. But it’s still a bit disappointing that my relatively compact keyboard takes up the entire width of the tray. Thankfully, there’s room for the mouse underneath, so it won’t be a big bother for me since I’ll be using an Xbox controller the majority of the time. Long story short: If you want a sturdy tray that you can use for dedicated mouse and keyboard gaming, or for work/school, or even for eating, you may want to look elsewhere. I’m sure there’s something wider and more sturdy that you could find for the nearly $50 this cheap tray costs

Table-Mate TV Tray Table
I recently purchased the Table-Mate TV Tray Table, and it has quickly become one of the most versatile pieces of furniture in my home. The setup was simple, and I love how lightweight and portable it is. It folds up easily for storage when not in use, but when it’s set up, it feels stable and sturdy. The adjustable height and 3 angle settings are a great feature—I can use it for eating, working on my laptop, or even reading comfortably from the couch or bed. The cup holder is a thoughtful touch. It keeps drinks secure and prevents spills, which is especially handy when snacking or working at the same time. The surface area is also just the right size—not too big, but spacious enough for a meal plate, tablet, or laptop. Another thing I appreciate is the practical design. It slides easily under the couch, so it’s always in reach without taking up extra space. It’s lightweight enough to move around, but still feels strong enough to hold what I need without wobbling. Overall, the Table-Mate TV Tray Table is convenient, versatile, and well-designed. Whether for meals, laptop work, or casual use, it’s a great addition to any home. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a flexible and portable solution for eating or working from the couch or bed.

Helpful for Someone With Mobility Challenges
I purchased this folding tray table for my husband, who suffered multiple strokes and spends a good portion of his days in a lift chair. I thought this item would be easily folded and tucked away between meals and such; and while I’m sure it is, my husband uses his new tray table so frequently that we rarely move it beyond his reach. He eats nearly every meal on this tray table and in between mealtimes, it serves to hold his coffee cup or drinking glass. Its raised lip has prevented many a spillage onto the floor from a toppled glass, and has prevented said glassware from rolling off the tray table. The surface size is perfect for my husband’s plate, drink, and even condiments. Its plastic surface is simple to clean and disinfect. I love its variable height options and sturdy base. We tilt the tray when he uses his iPad. We were able to adjust the height perfectly for my husband’s chair and it doesn’t impede his movements at all. Overall, I like this tray table a lot. What it lacks in style (it is plastic with a metal base), it makes up for in function. We do not use the cup holder; it is much too small for any glassware in our house. The cup holder also appears somewhat flimsy so I probably would not introduce my husband to that gadget, even if it were larger. I leave the cup holder tucked out of sight so that is a wasted and disappointing feature for us. Thus, 4 stars.
