Might have been good but stopped working after a day.
The peanut arrived and I was very excited to try it. I charged it as was requested for 3 hours, It worked for 10 minutes and then no more. I will send back. For as much as I remember it was very strong even on low setting. I would try to get a new one because I liked the concept of the peanut and it seemed really well made but they run out of them on the site.

It doesn’t suit all massage needs but it can hit the spot when you need it to
I like that the Peanut is a robust device, and it can take some rough handling as you might expect from a vibrating massager. It holds its charge quite well too, though how long exactly depends on the level and frequency of use. The rubberised surface makes it a little softer and easier to handle than some other massaging tools that I have tried, and because it is rechargeable there isn’t need to worry about cables getting in the way or even being close to a power outlet.I’ve found that it suits being used on some parts of the body more than others. For example its size and weight make it better for larger muscles, and less so for more delicate parts and bony areas. I’d have liked to be able to use it on my neck and shoulders whilst watching TV but the vibrations are so strong that it becomes distracting rather than relaxing. On a positive note it is certainly simple to use, and very powerful too. It doesn’t suit all massage needs but it can hit the spot when you need it to.

Great Quality, Vibration Therapy Massager With 4 Modes
I live in a cottage in a very rural area and I was thoroughly glad of that fact, as after firing up the peanut for my first session on my lower back, the vibrating pulse from the device was so awesome, I thought it might have registered on the Richter scale.Joking aside, this is one powerful massaging tool and with two further levels of even more intense vibration and a random setting to select from, I believe there’s a pulse in there to help with most muscular maladies. Driven by a long life internal rechargeable battery, a full charge should take around three hours using the included USB charging cable which you insert into the DC connector to be found on one end of the unit. There are a few simple rules to apply before and when using the device. These are all described on the instruction sheet which accompanies the massager and should be read before using. One of these is that the unit should not be used continuously for longer than 20 minutes but on even the lowest setting, I had to stop after 5 minutes although each individual will have different mileage. I restarted after a couple of minutes and resumed the therapy for a further 5 minutes before stopping for the day.A short video can be found on the Amazon page featuring “the peanut” and on the back of the included instruction sheet is printed a pictorial guide to various site applications of the device. According to this sheet and to the video, most, if not all of these sessions with the peanut, should be done whilst lying on the floor. However, after trying this and finding it rather uncomfortable, (in fairness this was just my first session) I decided to try it whilst sitting on my PC chair, and this I felt, yielded better results.Although too soon to declare the peanut a winner regarding my decades old lumbar back problem, after only two short sessions, I did genuinely feel some relaxation and benefit in that area and although the peanut is great for home use, I feel that this device would excel even more when used in a gym or physiotherapy scenario. In summary, a great muscular therapy tool at a competitive price.

Battery not great, everything else is nice
The peanut has 3 separate sections that rotate independently of each other so you're able to roll it around either with the massage function on or off. It's quite a bulky item and much heavier than other massagers. It has 4 functions: low, medium, high and a cycle through the other 3 functions. The lowest function is still very intense but you get used to it after a while, it certainly makes your teeth' chatter'.It works wonders on an aching muscle and I use it often but die to its length I tend to move it add a lot.The battery life depends on how often you used it but it's around an hour average time until it needs recharging. The charger is a female jack with a 3 pin plug, and when recharging a red lights flashes to show its charging. From a flat battery it took 3hrs to fully chargeThe reason for dropping a star is due to the weight and bulky-ness.I would have preferred a slightly longer peanut, maybe this could be something considered by the manufacturer in the future.

Good Vibrations
The media could not be loaded. Great product for all sorts of skeletal muscle aches and pains.I get a lot of pain and soreness around my Knee due to a broken ACL, this Crystal Opus Peanut definitely eased the soreness and reduced the amount of pain in the short time I have been using it.This Peanut massager is fairly substantial and well made, and covered in a rubber material it’s not too hard on the body. The rubber spikes dig nicely into the skin to get the vibrations deep into the muscles, and feels great.I have found this to work well if I have a headache that is emanating from sore neck muscles, I just lay down with a pillow on the back of my neck with this running underneath. There are 3 speed settings and 1 random speed setting, I only use the lowest setting for the back of my neck, and higher vibration settings for the legs and around my knee. Some reviewers have commented on poor battery life, I have found battery life to be very good only requiring charging with the supplied USB cable once every week. Overall, I personally think this is very good for vibration therapy. I also really like the shape and name, and at £29.95 (at the time of review) I think its great value. Alan
