Not the smallest
Another “you get what you pay for” kinda thing. I prolly have 15 helmets, 3 or 4 of which I’ll actually wear. Shoei multitec (2007), super seer 07, super seer 2023, and now this, 2024. I’ll still use the multitec in inclement weather. I like the rj platinum for the security. It’s my long haul choice along with my seer. The noise level is so much better than any of my half helmets, even with ear muffs. It’s definitely not a small helmet but you certainly trade off safety, going for the skid lid type, cheap helmets. The visor? The seer actually works, this is for looks, too high on the helmet to be functional. Still, shoei or super seer, you can’t go wrong.

Finally a helmet without pain if you wear glasses
I finally found a helmet that I can wear without pain for long or short rides while wearing glasses. I went through 3 other helmets trying to find a comfortable fit. This helmet has a groove on both sides that my temples find easily and slide right in. Like all helmets, the tight fit is still awkward when putting helmet on or off and is uncomfortable to the ears while doing so. I do not find the noise level to be too bad when riding on main highways but the sound is definately there. I am 73 years old and ride on a Burgman 400 Maxi Scooter. I highly recomend this helmet.

Customizable Fit
I have several helmets, Bell, Shoei, Nolan etc. This is the only one I know of that you can order cheek pads for it in 6 different thicknesses to make a perfect fit. Great helmet, my 3rd in 15yrs.

Nice helmet but visor rattles
Nice helmet. Would be 5 stars except the visor rattles when snapped on. Highway speeds I had an annoying rattle. Thought it was coming from my fairing or windshield but quickly discovered that it’s the snaps that constantly rattle when the visor is snapped on. Removed the visor and rattle/buzz disappeared. So as long as you don’t have a huge desire to use the visor, it seems to be a very solid helmet. Personally, I see no benefit in using the visor anyway. With my Ray Bans and helmet I’ve got all I need.

Quality helmet
Nice design, easy on the neck, comfortable and effectively quiets the noise. Hopefully I will not need it in a crash—the ultimate test.
