Zombie Dice Game
I bought these to use in the zombie dice game. There are great erasers I am sure. They are very solid and I think they would last and do well as erasers - even though I've never used them for this. They do work great as counters in the Zombie Dice game. http://www.amazon.com/SJG-131313-Zombie-Dice/dp/B003IKMR0U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400848539&sr=8-1&keywords=zombie+diceThe only problem is that they are a little too big and bulky. I believe I will cut them into halves or quarters instead, but I haven't had the heart to cut apart these delicious litle brains. I wonder how they taste . . . ? Braaains! Braaains! Oops - sorry I digress. :)

Brain Power
I thought these little brains went well with my presentation. Although not a perfectly accurate representation of the human organ, it served as a reminder to "use your brain"--even if its on a pencil top. My teachers liked them. I would have preferred them to be a gray color though, but the bright colors were okay.

Does anyone use these for erasers?
I was inspired to use these for point markers after seeing the Wil Wheaton episode of 'Tabletop' on YouTube where they played 'Zombie Dice'. So I can't comment on their use as erasers, but they are a good thematic prop for that game. I'd only wished they cleaned the flash of them better after they came out of the molds, they have a lot if excess material on the seama sometimes.

Loving the Brains
We purchased a whole bunch of these brains to help make our games of Zombie Dice more interactive. My husband took a batch to work where his programmers look forward to using the brains during their weekly Zombie Dice challenge after a programming meeting. My kids and I love having the brains to mark our scores rather than just boring hash marks on paper. We've never used them as erasers or pencil toppers, but I can see they would be delightful fun for school children.

Exciting for the Kids!!
We use this when we teach our Neuroscience STEAM lecture. At the end every child gets a pencil and a brain eraser. They love them, they love to trade colors. We'll go back to work with another class and see kids still carrying around their eraser, on new pencils because they used up the first ones.

Best Zombie Dice Score Keepers
I originally bought these to use for keeping score in Zombie Dice for my monthly Games Night. The were a hit! It's an all adult group, and they looked at me funny when I brought out the bowl-o-brains, but pretty soon everyone was into it and comparing brains and throwing them at one another. We also ended up using them to keep score for various other games, because who doesn't want more brains?

But as a tool to get the kids to practice counting very nice.
cute...Not used as erasers but as a unique tool for counting. So I can't say how it work to correct pencil errors. But as a tool to get the kids to practice counting very nice.

bigger than expected - worked out great!
I purchased these for use at a stroke class for health care providers. They came promptly and were much bigger than I expected, which was good. They fit snugly on the pencils and the colors were good, with plenty of variety. The brain shape and outline was very clear. They were a great addition for the class and I would consider them again for a similar purpose.
