Can't say enough about this. Great Value, look great! Remember to turn the switch on when you take the cover off before you finish to install them. They lit up from the first night. This of course are just for the ambience, nice design as well due to the honey-comb type cut in the plastic cover it gives off a great design below the light. Thank you had to buy more to go around the yard and house. Love them!***lowered my feedback. After purchasing more for the house, two shipments each with faulty units and also this set, originally thought well things happen but now noting that each shipment came with bad lights, sounds like POOR quality control.***After customer care contacted me assuring they had made modifications to units to better serve customers, I got another pair. It arrived perfect..both working--Have to say TWO months later, I get compliments, the lights remain on most of the night, I have been up at 4am and they are still on. I installed them on the garage gutter area and each post in my yard on the privacy fence. THEY PROVIDE A NICE LIGHT FOR THEWHOLE YARD! ALL STILL WORK WELL AND WITH THE ORIGINAL BATTERIES, I WOULD RECCOMMEND THESE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT!

Everyone wants the best product for the cheapest price. But in reality, that is not always possible. OTHWAY has balanced that VERY well in my opinion.So far, I have purchased 12 of these lights in total, and only 2 have had issues. 1 was WAY oversensitive and basically stayed on at all times, the other just stopped working after a few months. Other than that, they all have worked great, appear to be of the same level of brightness, and turn on around the same time/darkness (solar activated).Solar and LED technology is not cheap, and to provide a quality product costs money. OTHWAY seems to have reduced those costs just enough to provide an affordable product of high quality 10 out of 12 times, and that is great to me. Especially since the 2 lights I had issues with, they replaced with 4 lights, and no questions asked.The customer service is quick, responsive, and painless.As for the light itself, do not expect it to light up your back yard. On the fence, it is more of an accent light, and looks great in my opinion (and helps us see if our dogs are at the perimeter of the fence when we let them out at night). Placed more closely together along a path, these can provide better lighting for seeing where you are walking.

These little lights are great, but have a drawback.These little lights are very easy to install, but I suggest some caution when installing the screw on the left side as the screwdriver will touch a 3-leg capacitor that is right in front of that screw; not a major issue just be cautious.Now as for the lighting and what I think is its best application for maximum results. These lights are of very low lumen, I'd guess somewhere in the order of maybe 90 lumen of flood-light. I installed them on my wood post fence about 6'6" off the ground and the lighting area on the ground is about 9' @ 180° and the light is not bright when there are other sources of light which could shed their light in that area. These lights are best suited for near-total dark areas as that is when they will be visible. They are great for when you just need some lighting, but nothing annoying and don't require finding anything on the ground directly under them. I would compare them to those garden/drive-way/sidewalk lights you stake in the ground for just some minor lighting.I live in Florida so I can't offer any detail on how long they take to fully charge, but they do last all night at 100% intensity.Pros; a full charge lasts all night long, easy to install, discreet lightCons; possibly to discreet of a light source, best for very dark areas as other light sources can wash-out these lights visibilityI would recommend these lights as long as you understand how soft a light source they are.

I've waited over 6 months to review these lights because I wanted to see how durable they were. Well, to be honest, they have outlasted the solar ground stakes that my husband bought at Home Depot. :DHe took a look at them when I first got them and told me his would outlast mine. I'm laughing now because his died the first week and mine are still going strong. I can't say enough good things about these lights. I have them about waist high all around the wooden fence in the backyard. Every time I look out the back window I can see all around my backyard without turning on the porch light. It's very satisfying to say the least. It use to be pitch black out there and it was kinda scary. Now there is soft white light illuminating all around my backyard and I can keep an eye on the dogs when they go out at night and not worry about them being off somewhere in the pitch black dark. The batteries were included and I haven't had to change them yet. They have worked during rain and over 100 degree summer heat. All of them are still lighting up every night. I'm very impressed.

I had to wait until a good sunshine day so I could show how great these solar lights work on a very dark night. These lights are absolutely beautiful and each fence post provides a lovely ambiance of elegance with the way the plastic covers are designed. Each circular cut into the plastic cover provides an illusion of light that's glamorous and rich-looking. When the lights shine on the dark yard that I hope you can see in this real picture (definitely can't make this up), the beauty makes me speechless. When the moon lights up the night sky and these solar lights have taken in enough sun, the lights do all of the talking to the dark yard.A helpful hint, when carefully removing the plastic cover to install the plastic based on the light post, make sure you turn on the light switch BEFORE putting the plastic cover on. While the covers are somewhat easy to remove to install on the fence posts, it becomes very challenging to carefully remove the plastic cover without breaking it, after it's been installed on the light post.

Lights were easy to install and provide a good amount of light. I won't be reading under them, but it will guide you around your backyard without stubbing your toe. I waited too long to take them out of the box and install them - or else I probably would have returned them. I know from the photos you can tell they kind of resemble golf balls...but they REALLY resemble golf balls once you pull them out of the packaging. I don't have much hope the they will last more than a year - so I put them up. Watch them last forever - just because I don't like the look of them.

Charge well, work well. I've purchased 32 for my back yard fence. Very happy with the price/performance.

We have these all around the yard, for a total of 18 solar lights. We had had to replace one in 3 years. They look really good day and night

I have now owned this bran of Genc lights for the best four years. They are amazing and maintain their brightness. Despite the four years ans Four harsh Canadian winters, these lights have longevity and brighten up my backyard so well. Highly recommend this product. Have also purchased for my gazebo which has a sky light and able to charge the lights. Love them and this brand. No issues at all with this product.

The family loves to sit on the balcony of the backyard in the summer. So I want to add two small lights to the railings in the backyard. So choose the same brand of solar lights and garage lights. Because the weather is getting cold and it's snowing, it's not going to be installed now. However, testing, everything is working, are receiving solar energy during the day, bright lights at night, save money and energy.
