FP3556M - Fuel Pump Assembly E3556M Compatible with 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2002 2003 Cadillac Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, Chevrolet Suburban 1500, GMC Yukon XL 1500

I cut an access panel under my back seat of my Avalanche. That made the install so easy. Dropping the fuel tank is a task, as I have done that before. I sealed the hatch, put the carpet back in place and you can’t tell anything was done. It sure made installing the fuel pump a breeze. Fuel pump does everything it is supposed to do and my truck runs great.

So far, works beautifully. Required no rewiring. The most difficult was droppthe tank since it was nearly full when the 17 year old OEM pump went. The price and several negative reviews were troublesome, but the free return guarantee made it an easier decision. I do not reccomend this task to an amateur mechanic by any means. I will update this review should ANY problems arise.

Ordered this back in Aug 2020. 2002 Chevy Avalanche Z71. 5.3L. Local price was for a fuel pump was a couple hundred. I was very hesitant about ordering this, based on price and some of the reviews. Most of the bad reviews seemed to be electrial issues. Before I installed I did look over the wiring and compare to the existing unit. The only wires that did not match up were the wires to the pressure sensor. I dont know if it would of made a difference if I didnt switch them, but I ended up moving the wires to match how they were on my existing worn out unit. Fit with no issues. Did not need to use the adapter that was sent with it. So far, working like it should. I have about 1700 miles in it.

Piece of Junk. I don't even know how to begin. I wired the new pigtail in and installed the pump. It would never turn on. After a while of trouble shooting I discovered the new plug had the wrong color wires in the wrong spots. After rewiring it again the pump would still not work. I then used jumper wires to try and make the pump turn on and nothing would work. Every piece of this pump was junk. Do not waste your money.

I own an 02 Avalanche Z71 The pump directly bolted in and fit perfect.The wiring diagram with the pump and the pig tail that was included did not work. We had to pull the pump back out and trace the lines from the fuel level sensor and from the pump to determine which lines went to what.We had to cut the plug in off and hard wire the pump. After doing this everything worked correctly. If the diagram would have been correct I would have rated it a 5 star.

Perfect fit for my 2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500 The only thing is the rubber seal that comes with it is thicker than the factory seal and makes it a somewhat difficult to seat the pump down so I ended up using the rubber seal from the bad pump and it went right in with no issues. Didnt need to use or mess with the harness plug that comes with it as it was simple plug in with no problems. As far as I'm concerned it's a good product at a good price. Started right up first turn.

It fit my 02 Chevy Avalanche

Worked great for about 3 months then it left me dead on side of road. Good thing I cut a access panel for fuel pump under the back seat of my 2003 Yukon Denali 6.0 when i put this in. Ended up spending the extra money and getting a Delphi pump after this one and 3 months In and still running strong with Delphi pump.. spend the extra money and get a good pump. I would call this a temporary pump just to get you by don't waste your money cause eventually it will leave u on side of road.. also the fuel Guage is not accurate ran out of gas twice when it said i had almost a quarter tank of gas.. so I always kept it over quarter tank after those encounters
