Koga SD1 Made of High Impact Polymer - Good for Self Defense, Security and Sports.

The SD1 with rounded ends is a solid polymer stick. Just the right balance of weight and length. Definitely to large for pants pocket except maybe cargo pants. Easily carried in a purse, fanny pack or knapsack. Airline friendly (pack it with some stretch bands and it's a grip handle). I've small hands for a man and my wife is really small but felt comfortable for both of us. Excellent value for the price!

Out of the mess of gimmicky designs out there, it's nice to finally see something that stays relatively true to the original design and intentions of the early Yawara stick. I have collected other versions like Frank Matsuyama's viciously spiked design as well as Safariland's now defunct aluminum "Judo stick". Rob Koga's design is not new but it builds on it in a nice solid portable package that can be discreetly carried in a pocket with a few added inches for more reach and penetration. The shaft is cut just right for maximum grip retention, the ends tapered and carved in a windswept design for thumb-reinforced work up close. The rounded knobs at both ends are just downright nasty. The words "teeth-smashing" and "skull-crushing" definitely come to mind. Don't just let it sit in the bottom of your bag or purse. Get some training reps in there, learn to use it under duress, find out what the impact feels like and this Yawara stick should serve you well.

I'm very pleased, that I have found these!These are also a great piece of tool to use to fiddle around with as well as! Self defense situations. i also like the fact that these are wooden pieces of material. Definitely some history built into it as well😂😂😅👍👍 I definitely give these 5 to 6 stars in my book

Easy to grip

Nice and strong build but the scannable QR code makes me nervous as I looked it up and results came back where it may be harmful or damaging this needs to be fixed or clarified ASAP
