My Little Picture Bible

We have many children's bibles, but this is my favorite for taking to church. It's not a comprehensive bible, so not every single story is in there, but it does a nice job of covering the major stories, which is what I love about it. It's small and light, easy to throw in a bag, and doesn't leave out major tenants if the Christian faith. It's a hard cover book, but the cover is somewhat squishy. The pages are thick lamenated. These features make it very durable - perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The overall size and weight of the book are also little kid friendly. The stories are well written and the pictures are beautiful. You won't regret purchasing this for your children or as a gift. It makes a great Baptism gift.

Great quality and seems it will be able to stand up to a lot of wear. The illustrations are beautiful. Will be well read by all of our kids!

A great book for my 5yr old. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be.

I bought this to start reading to my 3 month old and we love it. She's still too young to be interested in it, but I love the illustrations and how simple the stories are to understand. It'll be a great book to read to her for a couple of years.

I love this! It covers a lot more stories than other child's bible story books, has great pictures for the kids and is thoughtful. It is still a little over my two year olds head and attention span but I know in a year or two it will be perfect!

My daughter received this as a gift. She loved it. As a result, I purchased one for my new God daughter. It is a wonderful little Bible. It is great for kids to read the basic Bible stories. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I just love the pictures in this Bible. It is my favorite children's Bible. I give this for all baptisms.

A nice little book which is easy for children to follow. Lots of detailed pictures with simple story's to follow. The book is a hard back but soft making it ideal for toddlers/babies too. Was packaged well and arrived on time.

Ich habe die Bibel zur Taufe verschenkt. Das Buch hat eine gute Größe, nicht zu groß ( ca. DIN A 5, etwas größer ), der Einband ist dick gepolstert aus Kunststoff, so dass auch Babies das Buch gefahrlos " annagen " können, ohne das es gleich auseinanderfällt oder im Magen landet. Die Seiten sind aus sehr festem Papier. Der Täufling ist jetzt knapp 1 Jahr alt und ich wollte eine Kinderbibel verschenken, die einem Bilderbuch am nächsten kommt. Da gefielen mir halt die deutschsprachigen Kinderbibeln nicht so gut. Die Bilder sind einfach nur schön, kindgerecht, bunt, nicht kitschig. Die Texte sind zwar in Englisch - aber das interessiert die Babies erst einmal nicht - und jeder - sogar ich Nicht- Fremdsprachentalent - kann das mühelos übersetzen. Außerdem ist da nicht viel Text um die Bilder herum. Die Texte sind überhaupt nicht streng oder überladen religiös sondern vermitteln kindgerecht-spielerisch biblische Geschichten ( z.B. der Garten Eden, Arche Noah ( die Tiere sind besonders niedlich ) usw. . Ich würde die Bibel jederzeit wieder verschenken.
