I deliberated for a long time whether to buy a cheaper plastic spring holder or pay six times as much for this metal one, but am glad I did.Not immediately apparent from the description is the fact there is a tilting action too, so if you couple with a grip or a selfie stick you can angle the phone for better ease of use. The holder is spring-loaded but unlike cheaper units has a locking option. Shoe on top allows the addition of your mic or a light.A product that is worth the extra investment.

This is not a cheap plastic rig but a well made, quality metal holder/mount that holds my phone securely. The spring mechanism is easy to open and the dial on the back allows me to tighten it further so the phone stays put. Smooth action for tilting and turning the phone to different angles, and a hot shoe for adding a light or mic. A well designed, well thought out bit of kit!

A well made, very sturdy and quality piece of kit for getting your phone attached to your tripod. It is rock solid on my Manfrotto tripod. I have bought the cheaper plastic made versions of these in the past, and been disappointed with them. Save yourself the expense on spending your money on plastic ones and spend that little bit more on this one, you will be delighted you have done.

Sure this is not cheap, but it is very well made. It has allowed me to mount various phones to my tripod and is even heavy enough to perform as a small standalone table top mount for my phone. The inclusion of the cold shoe is ideal for me, it allows me to add wireless mic transmitters with ease. It is sturdy yet agile enough to allow you to move the phone around to get the desired angle - would recommend.Note: used with iPhone pro 12 and iPhone XR

Ich hab mir in den letzten Monaten einige Billo-Varianten so einer Halterung gekauft und hab sie jeweils nach einigen Einsätzen begraben. Entweder wars zu wackelig, oder zu ungriffig, oder zu unhandlich... was man eben für 5-10 Euro bekommt.Im Rückblick ärgere ich mich, dass ich nicht von Anfang an zu diesem Teil gegriffen hab, zumal es damals schon mal in meinem Warenkorb lag. Super verarbeitet - wertig, knackig, heavy und unverwüstlich und kann halt alles, was man braucht! Beweglich in allen Achsen und wirklich wirklich bombenfest fixierbar in der Horizontalen oder Vertikalen oder genau in dem Winkel, den man möchte. Da ruckelt und wackelt nix auch nur einen Millimeter.Weiterer wichtiger Punkt für mich: Der integrierte Blitzschuh! Es gibt tatsächlich nur wenige Halterungen, die das haben. Warum auch immer, weil man beim beim mobilen Filmen ja ständig extra Licht, oder extra Akku oder extra Mic braucht. Bislang hab ich mir da mit Adapter-Schrauben und aufschraubbaren Blitzschuhen geholfen, was mich aber einfach genervt hat, weil das alles zusätzlichen Platz in der Foto/Video-Tasche kostet.Hier ist der Blitzschuh mit dabei. Und nicht nur das! Es gibt einen drehbaren Blitzschuh für den Blitzschuh dazu, wenn das Licht mal etwas indirekter sein soll. Toll!Ich kann jedem, der sich ein einigermaßen solides mobile setup aufbauen will, nur raten, sich dieses Ding zu kaufen, bevor man sich viele nervige Billig-Alternativen kauft und dann DOCH das hier nimmt ;)
