Ottima guida
Per chiunque voglia sostenere l'esame REDHAT LINUX RHCSA, questa è un ottima se non la migliore guida aggiornata agli ultimi sviluppi e test presenti nell'esame. Di più si potrebbe avere solo con una guida in italiano. Magari ci penserò io a tradurla e pubblicarla. Cercate i miei libri qui su Amazon, cercando Rocco Cardillo.

Not as good as the Asghar Ghori book
I had high hopes for this book. I initially purchased the Asghar Ghori RHCSA book and went through the entire thing, including the four well-done (and challenging) practice exams. Sure there were some typos here and there, but a great book nonetheless, that was very focused in giving you what you needed for the exam. After I got done with the Asghar Ghori book, I decided to get this book as a supplement, to see if I was missing anything. This book pales in comparison (IMO), so I'm glad I decided to go with the Asghar Ghori first. Don't get me wrong... This author obviously knows his stuff inside and out, but my issue is with how the book is presented. In short, too much fluff that is not needed for the exam, and I just found the flow of the book hard to follow. Also, the two practice exams included in the book really fell short, IMO. If you're going to go to all the trouble to write this book, at least give us some quality practice exams to round out the experience. The real exam is 2.5 or 3 hours long, and 20 tasks, but this author's practice exams are 2 hours long, and no more than 14 questions. I don't get it...Also, one of the questions on the first practice exam is just written incorrectly, and makes absolutely no sense (Create user bob and set this user's shell so that only this user can change the password). I even found people on reddit discussing that broken question. Unacceptable! I also felt that some practice tasks were ambiguous in what was being asked, which made me want to pull my hair out in frustration. There are also no practice questions/tasks on Stratis (really?), and we are not asked to even configure the network adapter or to give the VM a proper hostname (basic stuff). The Asghar Ghori does all that and more, and gives much better CLI examples.I could go on, but to summarize, save yourself a lot of confusion and frustration and get the Asghar Ghori book (2nd edition). You'll get so much more out of it, IMO.

Great book
I have studied for a few certs and I have purchased a few books but this one is phenomenal. It is the only book I have for the RHCSA, but wow. It is laid out in a great format that is easy to understand and doesn’t have the feel of other text books. The lab environment that it helps you set up is great and the lab assignments are thorough. I studied like a fiend and passed my first time and I owe it all to this book.
