As someone with over four decades of experience in hand sewing, I’ve come to trust Singer for dependable, quality sewing tools. This set of assorted hand sewing needles does a great job covering the essentials for various sewing tasks, from hemming and mending to simple embroidery.This pack includes needles in sizes 2 through 7, covering everything I need for a wide range of hand-sewing tasks. Whether I’m working on delicate embroidery or sturdy repairs, the variety here is suitable for most household and craft projects. It’s convenient for users like myself who enjoy experimenting with different sewing techniques. The compact storage case is a real plus, especially for keeping the needles organized and easy to find. The square design makes it easy to store without taking up much space, and it keeps all the needles safe and secure. For anyone who’s ever lost a needle in a drawer, this case is a lifesaver. The inclusion of a needle threader is a thoughtful addition, especially helpful for those with eyesight challenges like myself or those working with finer needles. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the ease of use and accessibility of this set, which I appreciate after many years of dealing with small, hard-to-thread needles.Even though size 2 needles are frequently used for heavier fabrics and are often in less demand, I’m disappointed that the pack includes only one of them. For a well-rounded kit, I would have preferred at least three size 2 needles, as I also use them in the kitchen (mainly for removing rubber seals in my Blendjets, Snapware containers and Stanley tumblers. While the needle threader is a welcome addition, its build quality isn’t the most durable. It feels a bit flimsy compared to the needles themselves, and I’d be cautious about applying too much pressure. A more robust needle threader would complement the quality of the needles in this set and extend the value of the purchase. Although these needles work wonderfully for standard fabrics, they aren’t the sharpest option for thicker materials like denim or canvas. If you’re planning on frequent repairs for heavy-duty fabrics, you might find the sharpness lacking over time, especially if used regularly on tougher materials.For the price I paid, it remains a dependable and budget-friendly option for me. Singer continues to be a reliable brand, and this product holds up well for light to moderate sewing tasks.

Decent quality at a decent price

I grew up with family which always used Singer needles and sewing machines. I have found I go back to Singer needles after trying other brands. Of course there are some exceptions of working with leather and sail cloth etc. They are quality and reliable. As always ease of threading is as good as the users eye sight and skills.
