I have bought strong magnets before, these are not quite the same..Strong for sure, and love the exterior surface and look great, but was kind of upset at the strength, great for holding papers on the fridge, I bought some from think geek before and the ones twice as small are still MUCH stronger than these...so. Overall, great magnets, look great with smooth texture, and work great...not what I was looking for. Still keeping, because they look so good.

They should call these crab magnets because they pinch the shi*t out of your fingers.Also, they're powerful, slim and sleek looking -- They're the Super Model of magnets.You'll hate them for the pinching pain while admiring their striking form.I've had them for a month and all I've done is take them out of the box, get pinched in the process, admire them for a few minutes and then get pinched putting them back in the box.10/10 -- would definitely buy again.

They are certainly very strong magnets but also incredibly fragile. Right out of the box when pulling the top one off it broke in half. When putting another on the fridge and sliding it off to the edge to get it off, it broke in half. I accidentally dropped on and when it hit the floor it completely shattered like glass. The strength is great, but consider how they will be used because they are very fragile and break easily.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I had a project for an external phone battery and two of these worked perfectly. Since they're coated, make sure you use a semi-sticky substance if you're mounting against metal. They tend to slide on other smooth metal surfaces - which is to be expected. Otherwise, very strong and thin.

Be warned: these are TRULY strong magnets. We made a gift of them to my mother-in-law and, when she first pulled them apart and snapped them back together, she nearly drew blood [her fault--one must slide these together, not snap them together]. We have no doubt they will easily hold her calendar on her fridge.

I was concerned about how wrong they were going to be when I ordered them. When they arrived my mind was put at ease. They are thin but they are some really strong magnets and are more than adequate with what I am going to use them for. Thank you so much.

Worked as designed. Needed it for a High School science project. As a parlor trick, people are surprised and amused how strong these magnets are and how difficult they can be to separate.

These magnets worked very well in the application I purcashed them for which was securing a tarp magnetically to the body of my Kawasaki Mule UTV for protection from weather related issues. I Highly recommended using DIY Magnetics neodymium magnets such as these for any application within it's recommended limits.
